  1. Free to anyone that might find a use for 'em 2 brand new 9v centre negative fx pedal type power supply plugs. These when I tried them with a few different pedals were a bit noisy, they might even work fine for something you have, or even be useful to run the lighting on a model railway layout or whatever! I didn't want to just bin them if they could be of use to someone else.
  2. Looks like the alloy's sheared? If so you'll never glue that. I'd have thought a look on ebay would turn up some tuners very similar to those, you can certainly buy pearloid dot markers in various sizes there... nice old bass btw πŸ‘
  3. Mmm.. smoked sausage, I'm going to have go out in search of some now you know....
  4. You're just "easy" though Snorks.... πŸ˜‰
  5. Just had a look at the video, though I confess I pretty much jumped straight thru to the playing section. As regards the "verbal" part my immediate thought was..why?.. you certainly don't have to justify anything about what you do or what you look like, who you are, etc etc.. The music section.. sounds bloody good to me, end of. I've got a number of pedals that are probably more what you'd think a "guitarist" would use ( I'm likely to be doing more soundscape type stuff ongoing nowadays).. pedals are great, you can't have "too many pedals" 😁
  6. Loads of people begin on a musical instrument at that age, I wish I'd started at 8 tbh.. a short scale bass would be advisable of course 😁
  7. The Steinberger licensed bridge/tuner is also a very decent quality unit on these too, unlike many copies of this system out there. I remember it held tuning very well even when I did various down tuned malarkey with it (just using the regular strings )
  8. The Jacks are excellent basses and sound great, I had a black one and always used active, though it had a useful switch to kill the active elecs if your battery died so you could carry on!
  9. Glue a bit of sandpaper on either side of the bit you hold (if you see what I mean)
  10. Yankee Doodle Dandy... That's what the one here plays (at a rather brisk tempo)
  11. It's obviously for one of those double- double basses 10ft high that you stand on a step ladder to play...
  12. You're v. lucky to have avoided them, they're a proper pain in the arrse. One place, where it went off literally as soon as you touched a guitar, we said we'll either plug into a "non trip" set of power sockets, or we pack up and go home now. We played in the end after a bit of cable running argy - bargey.
  13. That's absolutely Epic...top, top quality "resignation" 🀣
  14. What about Rigger Boots then?
  15. Smells are another very potent memory trigger, I seem to remember reading somewhere that smell was supposed to be the most profound of these.
  16. The 6 string one with the Bigsby? That's the same seller"Alexander" wonder if he's a Russian, or a Meerkat, or both😁
  17. Lewisham is gettable for me but I wouldn't pay 190 quid for it, knock 100 off then maybe..
  18. Heard "Shallow Then Halo" earlier ...that had me back in a crumbling flat at the Elephant and castle 1983...
  19. I just write that stuff on the back of my hand in felt pen
  20. I wouldn't be wearing a tshirt on its own anyway, I'd generally have a shirt or jacket over it, so what it says is mostly obscured.
  21. I've sometimes messed with different tunings, (rather than just down or drop tuning) but this would be for inventing stuff myself rather than being in a "genre" as such.. Interesting to experiment with and create ideas you wouldn't otherwise have.
  22. Nilo the thing to do is borrow lots of money from them individually, then do a runner.. ( & get another "burner" phone obviously) πŸ‘
