1. @Tinman I have the same problem (live in Louth), but pools music in Grimsby have a white classic vibe jazz in at the moment. I went in and had a go on it a couple of weekends ago. Might still be there? As for the fretless VMJ, they have one in music rooms in Lincoln. They are really nice to play. I've just remembered, they have a classic vibe in aswell.... I am torn between the two. I prefer the feel of the fretless VMJ, but don't want a fretless neck, so wil probably go in the middle and get the natural wood VMJ (as it still has the duncan designed pickups on it)
2. I am waiting for delivery of my Klystron 500. Am getting very excited. Picked it up on offer, for pretty much the same price as an ABM.
3. Am interested. How much would postage to Lincolnshire be?
4. piccies please.
5. Am interested, but what is the condition of it? Do you have a photo of your actual bass rather than a stock one?
6. 2 Rechargeable PP3's and a charger off ebay for £15. Now I take out the batteries every week and charge them. I also keep a spare duracell in my bass case incase I forget the others. It took me a few weeks to get into the routine, but 2 years later and it's second nature.
7. Craig bought my Trace Elliot practice amp. Nice bloke, good communication. All OK.
8. Bought my rack wireless. Easy transaction. Nice.
9. Sold him my V-AMP pro. Nice guy. Good communication.
10. Panda bought a rack tuner off me. Paid quickly and great communication. Nice bloke!
11. Bass amp is sold to craig65 subject to the usual....
12. BUMP. Postage on amp will be about £13. So £50 + £13 = £63. Make me an offer.
13. Whats the condition of the EVO II? Any scratchy pots etc or Damage to case?
14. For the power I always used a 4-way and sound heavy duty velcro to attack it to the inside of the rack case, then used tie wraps to bundle up the cables. Problem solved for under a tenner and you can always change it later, no cutting of cables.
15. I've got a double Hercules stand and it's the best one I've ever used...
16. Just sold my Behirnger BTR2000 with the rest of my rack gear and bought and Pitchblack. It arrived today and I used it tonight at band practice. It's nice Has 4 different screen/tuning modes, but cant get the hang of stobe so I'll stick with a the regular needle style tuning mode. (Only downside is that it doesn't let you tune as you play )
17. Trace Elliot Amp available again. everything else gone. £50 + postage, any takers?
18. Just flogged a rack case to Warpig. Good communication and friendly guy. Paid quickly
19.
also does a MAG 210 sound much different to an ABM?
FWIW. I went and tried a MAG115 and an ABM115 and was amazed how different they sounded. I played around with 3 different amps, the ABM500, MAG500 and LG350 and was unimpressed with the sound of the MAG cabinet. In the end, I picked up an Ashdown Classic Neo Mini 15 Cabinet off Soundslive for £330 (special offer price), only £20 more than the ABM115, but lighter and made in the UK. As for the difference between a 210 and a 115- Dunno.
20. @mikegatward. Just PM'd you back. AMP is on hold for someone. Still got the rack for sale.....
21. Sorry ogri, sold to Panda....
22. Behringer BTR2000 Rack Tuner Been well used, but in excellent condition, always kept in a rack case. Has 2 inputs and can be used with a foot switch to change between the inputs. Has loads of different tuning modes and is nice and clear to use. Also includes a rack light, to light up the equipment below it in your rack. I bought it new about 12 months ago. Only selling as I'm getting rid of all my rack gear to buy a new amp. Cost about £60 new. I'd like £30 for it + postage.
23. Wireless system is sold pending payment. Now for the rackcase anyone? No, then maybe a bump for the practice amp?
