  2. They seemed to have been the choice of Amps for bassists in Reggae bands We shared gigs with in the 80s - 90s. Sounded great with big cabs

  18. Oh I saw that gig. It was Dom Flemons (ex Carolina Chocolate Drops). I thought they were great, the spoons n bones went well with Martin's banjo tunings. Added: I didn't like that Jim Moray's band everyone seemed to be raving about!

  21. I think You will find that Jack used a Guild Starfire modified by the early incarnation of Alembic for that album (and most of that time period ). He didn't use a Gibson until the 80's. But He would of sounded great playing anything... Like someone said the Epi JC is a really good very reasonably priced usable Bass
