    I had to send one of the new Cutlass models back because the shielding was so bad so do make sure to check that out.

    Still using the Beta MKII every rehearsal. I tend to prefer the Beta for my Jazz bass and Spark Booster for my Precision. Really liking the vintage tones and low end retention of the Beta. Works well with my Blower Box.

    The highest tension roundwounds that I've experienced are GHS Bass Boomers and Fender 7150 nickels. A set of either with the 105 E should suffice.

    34" because short scales lose fundamental to my ears.

    Was the bass properly set-up to accommodate the smaller gauge? I've never had issues with extra light gauges.
