1. I would ship if you paid shipping but I guess it would be a lot of $$, it's expensive to europe from what I recall so HK is gonna be off the scale! I'm in Istanbul at the noment so ain't got a lot of time to look prices, will check it out when I get back, unless someone can give a rough weight estimate? Tony
2. Funky bumpamatic T
3. Just my 2 pence worth..... I own a Sei Jazz 5, second one I've had, changed from the first one I had as it was a nice natural wood finish and I'm more of a solid colour man (I now own a white Sei Jazz, personal preference) Build quality is superb and they have one of the nicest necks on a 5 I've played, the neck profile and feel was consistant across both Sei's I've owned This is a passive bass so can't comment on the sound! At £900 it's bargain, a serious high end bass from probably one of the best luthiers in the UK Tony
4. I've been away for a while bump and price reduction to £550 shipped T
5. This is sold, I know cos I have it ! Tony
6. My four string MIJ '75 re-issue cost me £200, BARGAIN! To have my 5 string made by Sei, according to their current pricing is around £2425 5 string T-bass is £575 is you wanna buy one Tony
7. One of these in the Bass Gallery for £950!
8. Can't find ther black 'ray shot, I'm sure it came off of dudepit, so lost for ever All this talk of status necked rays is reminding me of the 100 NAMM bass I once had T
9. I've got a picture somewhere of a black 'ray with a graphite neck and a non origanil p/up, without the exposed pole pieces, looks sweeeeet! I need to find it for you! Tony
10. I would keep the neck, more so as it is a Ltd model! T
11. DB 750 GAS attack, but cannot justify it for the same reason as you are selling T
12. Why am I up at 09:11 on a sunday morning type of bump!! T
13. A few bits and pieces to clear out 37" comfort strap - £15.00 posted Fender leather strap - £12.00 posted Warwick leather strap (part of this was missing so I used part of another, looks OK, would suit enthusiastic warwick player as it looks a few years old) - £8.00 posted Loads of magazines, will list later (mainly US) 2 1/2 year old toshiba laptop (was over 1k at the time of purchase) , screen has snapped off but runs on external monitor, prone to blue screen death! DVD writer, hard drive etc all work, with power supply, spares or repair - £? Payapal preferefedefed
14. Gonna try and get to this, just with my guitar, amy bring the EUB and wack it therough and eefects chaing for fun. Not 100% cos I gotta fly out to Turkey on business the next day, so I may have to do the "be nice to wife" thing T
15.
reckon rob would sell a graphite neck for it if he was asked??? if so, that would make it interesting
I reckon he would, chuck in a reasonable priced refin' if you wanted it as new and you'll probably come in just over 1/2 the price of a new T' T
16. It's too early on a sunday morning type of bump Tony
17. Looks like and WOTT set about the same images search at the same time Out of interest, I once owned a Custom shop Jazz, the classic model with block inlays and active circuit, more like a '75 but with a modern twist, how does the neck profile on this bass compare to that? The one I had, probaby had the best neck I've ever played on a Fender! Tony
18. Just bought a bass of Timmy C, was as described, well packed and shipped quickly! Tony
19. I watched this last night, willing it to go over 4 figures for ya, good price for such a fine bass. £800-£900 seems to be the ball park for some serious high end used gear at the moment, I know from my recent Sei purchase T
20.
The Mutron isn't noisy in the slightest! I've currently got two, and neither of them have any bad noise problems.
Now that is just greedy I've had a few Mutrons, had a real good one which I regret selling sooooo much, then had a crap one which I got from the US, it had to go back. Had a newer Mutron, whilst it ain't as good as the real thing, they are far better than a lot of other filters out there. EBS Bass IQ is great, one of the best £100 (ish)options out there Here good things about the Maxon, but never played one Mooger Fooger LP is nice, stick an exp' pedal in for more versatility and some serious sub bass rumbles. Needs to be in a loop cos this things sucks tone like ten tone sucking things on a tone sucking day out Q-tron - first filter I had, thought it was great until I tried a few others. Dod FX 25 is nice for chucking in a quick squelchy kinda burst, not for prolonged use due to lack of bottom end Would have a Bass IQ, Moogger Fooger LP in a loooooper or an origanil Mutron if I had some spaer $$, would also like to give a MeatBall a squeeze, but the abundance of controls is off putting One thing to remember about EF's, it ain't a simple as twiddling the knobs to make it work, you gotta play the pedal!! Doug knows how! Tony
