2.
I like Charvel, but that is pretty wrong looking unless you have invented a way to travel back to the 80's and are planning on taking it there with you.
Haha I just thought it would look good with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers shirt...or the Ziggy Stardust/David Bowie Facepaint. I was initially going to have it stripped and have a budweiser graphic put on but I grew to really like it.
 3.
Bass paid for, and deliver arranged. bass will be uplifted from myself in a short while and will be with Oli on Monday. Hope you have fun with the bass mate, it really is a great instrument.
Wonderfully quick and easy transaction, its just hit me that its pretty much a Fender Custom Shop at a wicked price with the best Tele finish so i'm feeling much better about it. I'll let you know when it arrives and leave some feedback
 4. Hi BCers, Just wanted to see what you make of my recent addition to my collection in late August of this year, I've wanted one since I was four having found it on a picture inside a cassette. Theres only 20 of this type made by Grover Jackson of Jackson Charvel Guitars so I had to import it from the US - this is the last one on sale: http://www.musik-schmidt.de/gb-Charvel-Sta...Bolt-SALE-.html I received a DVD of the workshops activities and interviews from San Dimas Los Angeles plus a signed check list and C.O.A - all the Luthiers now work for Fender or Jackson's Custom Shop. I'm threatened with having to sell it (I won't!!) this is only part of the reason I've put it up, I'm more intrigued as to your first impression/knowledge of the guitar/company...
 5.
brilliant! you decided to keep playing the bass then?
Did indeed Luke '56 P bass replica inbound . James Brown played a part in the persuasion.
 6.
Nice one Oli! Fancy a Sadowsky???
Haha dont tempt me further, you'll be the first I consult if I don't like it
 7.
Sold to Oli - pending payment! Thanks for all the interest guys - you are a class bunch of bassists!
Cheers Kevin! I learnt from missing out on your Nordy's previously, not sure whether to laugh or cry at current - exciting all the same!
 8. The neck on my old Tokai Hardpuncher was superbly comfy and very similar to the G&L L2000 Tribute I recently owned.
 9. Further proof of its versatility: Ed Friedland the reviewer for Bassmagazine in the US uses a GBE1200 with 212T Neo Cab, And that guy plays A LOT of basses
 10.
Can't believe there's no interest in this beauty BUMP!
I love it, just can't afford it. Sure its the same for other at the moment, but Pedulla Buzz/MVPs are near my favourite bass.
 11.
3 months is a very[ short time to wait for a custom instrument. I'm also laughing behind my hand that John Shuker has quoted you 3 months to completion - a good friend of mine has been waiting nearly 2 years. There are many custom builders in the UK. There are lots of threads about them, try a search. Personally of the two options you give I'd let Martin do the whole thing.
Could you be assed to wait two years!!? Say you fancied a P bass back then but your GAS/taste changed to a Jazz...gutted! I think i'd forget it was coming.
 12. I don't like the ying yang on instruments, it puts me off the Warwick Stage II Streamer with those inlays. I just think its a lil tacky. Its not a major put off but for the money! This coming from a man with a red burst bolt of lightening on a metallic gold guitar...Glad to hear your enjoying the Fodera though!
 13.
MB1. It be a 2 band eq Oli!
Then thats the sex!! Too bad I can only trade n px about. Gutted, love blue basses all of a sudden!
 14. Is it 2eq or 3eq?
 15.
Split !?
I'd love to but I need a buyer for the head
 16.
what kind of basses would you consider for swaps?
I'd only consider guitar amps in trade from now on.
 17.
Hi, Let me know if you are interested. I see your from Carlisle / Cardiff. If you were around Carlisle next week I could meet you as I will be visiting Penrith. All the best
Aww damn, i'm in my Student accomodation in Cardiff at current. I only hesitate because I've always fancied the two pickup model - doesn't look as good as this one though for the condition.
 18.
Errr split them ?
I spose...OR!! You could take the whole rig off me for a grand stack the 212s high with the 750 sitting pretty up top
 19. Hmm, any advice on selling this or am I just looking to Ebay again?
 20. I'd use it live, i'd only collect the really old stuff and use anything new till I got my £1200 worth out of it. They'll make a bass out of stainless steel or something one day and it'll make all our basses redundant a worthless like the old Hofners - You've all seen the Gibson robot!!
