  1. Hi folks, I've recently acquired an Enfield Fusion and I can't get the LEDs to work. Battery is fine (lights on the PUPs are all working well). I've tried the push/pull option on the front-PUP pot and nothing, and I can't see any switches in the cavity or on the body? Suggestions most welcome 👍
  2. Thanks for the info, that's one option i didn't think of! Yes, passive 👍
  3. Ha, yes I get you mate, as above I'm going to give it a run for it's money next weekend and see how it goes 👍
  4. Thanks Greg, can't disagree with any of the above mate! I'm still thinking that the versatility is perhaps going to shone more with a fretted neck, but I'm going to try it fretless at a rehearsal next week, I suspect I might come away feeling slightly more encouraged to be honest. It's often that case that playing solo doesn't allow an instrument to really show it's true potential 👍
  5. An odd body that I picked up on eBay a few years back for a little bit more than I'm selling it for here (I was planning a reclaimed bitsa as the time and this was perfect if a little overpriced)! Got knows what the wood is but it had a lovely feel and a very nice oil finish. I built it up into a fretless with some VERY heavy and very old brass hardware (including a brass pickguard) and it played very nicely and sustained forever. It was also heavier than my cab (it's not an especially light body, I'll weigh it once i have some batteries for my scales). Pretty much standard Fender dimensions re pocket/rout/pickguard/bridge. It's also got that slight flat-C indent at the treble side of the neck pocket that a few old basses seem to have, no idea what/why, but apart from being noticeable, it makes no different to fit/function. I'll dig out the brass hardware also, worked very nicely on this body. Not to everyone's taste for sure
  6. This thread is going cost me a LOT of time 👍
  7. It feels like the bass belongs to us all mate
  8. Sorry, this is I think sold but waiting on payment, looks more 60's than 70's to me but as I've yet to put on a bridge I'm not sure but will check in the morning. Finish appears to be light nitro 👍
  9. BBC News today described how Wilko, who'd played with the Feelgoods since 1972, enjoyed a four-decade career. I not normally angered by poor maths but today i was. Five decades of honest, take it or leave it, straight ahead gigging. Well done Wilko, hope you and Lee are enjoying a glass or two and a bit of reminiscing this evening 🍻
  10. Sadly at around the same time I was known as Purdy, although for much the same reason
  11. Impressive stuff indeed 👍
  12. His greatest performance, the electric mouse on rails......
  13. i’ve had a think as to whether I agree, and I probably do, at least with the second part 👍
  14. Funny that, when I posted above about Beatles and cultural influence on essentially white music I was thinking about Kraftwerk’ influence on early hip hop, and especially Afrka Bambaataa’s opinion that without Kraftwerk there’d have been no hip hop.
  15. To quote Simon Cowell, I don’t like it….,
