1. Does this mean I have an excuse to slap up a pic of my Bolin again? What's not to love?
 2.
Isn't that Lysdexia's?
Without a shadow of a doubt!
 3. £650 for a BO Corvette... bodes well for the NT Streamers that I have for sale! Though I am loathed to eBay them, that may be the way forward.
 4. My observation would be that you are either bored or not inspired by your bass. If you are talking about adding a different preamp to any other bass that you might buy then why don't you just change the preamp in your Jazz 24? There are lots of basses for sale on the forum and at the right price you'd sell your bass to buy something else... my gut feeling; you don't like your current bass so get rid of it and get something else!
 5. Gone!
 6. The Boss pedal can struggle below C on a 4 string bass (I use one). Simple remedy... don't go below C! Seriously! Whilst playing an octaver why would you be playing in the lower register? Even if you have a phenomenal amp and cab(s) the lowest register sounds pants with any pedal (IMHO) Among others, the Carl Martin and EBS are as good if not slightly better but you'll still end up splashing a wedge of cash and be finding fault regardless. I've tried some of the other pedals (and rack units) available and tbh the Boss may warble a bit on sustained notes etc but it is no worse than most and better than units costing twice the price; learn to play around it's weakness and enjoy what it does.
 7.
My Q is, what tone can i expect compared to say a Jazz or a Stingray5.....I have never played a Warwick before....Which is the best Corvette model, i always liked the FNA Jazzman...Are they weighty? Do all Warwicks sound similar, What can i pick up a Double Buck or FNA for these days? Thanks for any comments...
TBH there are Corvettes and there are Corvettes; you could essentially be asking 'what tone can I expect from a Fender [insert any manufacturer with a large range]' because the Corvette that I own is very different from say the one that 'Waldo' has for sale from the one that 'clauster' has, as much as say a P bass 'v' a Jazz 'v' Squier 'v' a CS. In the Corvette range there are passives, actives, Jazz pups, MM, MM +Jazz, $$, (to name but a few) BO, NT, cheapies, expensives... do you see where I'm coming from? Best advice... Go out and try one because they are all different (inc. neck dimensions).
 8.
Double Bass, Aston Martin DB anything also considered tho
You can have my Dog's Boll*cks + cash, poor owld git is just like me and doesn't have much use for them... not that I'm insinuating I'd have any use for my DBs! I'll stop digging now.
 9.
Monitor adjustment necessary.
Come on now... I like Warwicks, what does that tell you!
 10. PM 'bassassin' he'll give you a good idea or stick a thread in the JapCrap Spotting section, the regulars in there will know better than anyone!
 11.
hah hah well as it happens I could have! I'm off work this week and just trolling around, with lots of spare time, which is *SO* unusual for me. I would have loved to have had another blast through the Thunderfunk (if you still have it ?) I'll drop you a line next time I'm up for sure! ...a cuppa and a go on the TF sounds like an ideal way to spend an hour or so... However as for buying another Warwick, well, hell yeah, you probably could have tempted me with another!
"Well Hello Andy, come on in mate... what's that; a quick blast through my Thunderfunk and Aggie DB112s? Of course mate... here just plug this old Warwick in... what's that; is it for sale? Well it just so happens!" Or something like that any way. If you do intend visiting the area giz a shout (Warwick purchase or otherwise) and you are more than welcome to give the TF a blast whilst shouting the breeze!
 12.
Flat are mint. It's a shame the word 'thud' is always used, though... they do so much more than that!
Agreed... they also do 'clunk' but definitely not 'clank'! Only joshing, I've got new found respect for flats. I'm not fitting them to my gigging bass but I have new found respect for them!
 13. Nice colour and a new bass at used bass prices!
 14.
I know a bassplayer who owns an Akai-looper and it has the nice feature that you can go back to your first layer without everything on top of it, which is very handy. Anyone know if this pedal has the same possibility ?
I have the same pedal (hence why my guitarist got one) and yes you can cancel all of the additional loops on top of the original one.
 15.
lol that indeed usually is the case. ...deal done, and desk at mine. It just so happened that I was heading North to Newcastle today, to collect a pair of turbosound subs, ...so seeing this desk last night was a perfect opportunity. Two birds with one stone, and all that. Special thanks to Dave for his patience when, through my own stupidity, I went to the wrong postcode... Doh! Andy
Hey Andy. I can't believe you were visiting Newcastle/Dave (Hi Dave ) and didn't call in for a cuppa... I'm sure I could have tempted you with a Warwick!
 16. The price is inclusive of a Musicman hardcase (logo impressed poly type) and FREE deliver... AND if you buy this before the Ltd Ed is sold then you can also have gratis a Warwick 25th Anniversary Leather Jacket (brand new with tags size M)! The jacket was won in a Warwick competition 18mths ago but the size was wrong for me and I couldn't get it exchanged; the jacket is at least £200+ on the Warwick site/shop!

Drop me a PM if so.
 18.
I'll take either or both if dannybuoy or stevie don't take them. Just PM if that's the case, but no worries if they're gone.

Can I have them if all these other people can't get the jiggy?!
I've PMd dannybuoy, if he doesn't get back to me by tomorrow a.m. then I'll see if mathewsanchez wants them, failing that they are yours Ben! Can you both PM me your postal address, as I'm off work tomorrow so I'll post them off to 'somebody' tomorrow.
 19.
If you look on the end of the headstock the serial number should be stamped there. The separate 2-digit number is the year it was manufactured.
The basses with painted finishes tend to have the number filled in by paint and/or lacquer but looking at the the lack of dot inlays, skinny wenge neck stringers, I'd say you're more likely to find the serial number between the tuners on the back of the headstock... the truss rod cover and plastic nut certainly date the bass later than I'd have thought, possibly to the late 90's. Does the bass have a volute at the top of the neck? Just trying to help you date it.
 20.
I'll take either or both if dannybuoy or stevie don't take them. Just PM if that's the case, but no worries if they're gone.
If dannybuoy doesn't come back to me they are yours! Cheers
 21. +1 with the above comments... I certainly didn't need or want it but it didn't stop me texting Mark to make enquires!
 22.
Are they Dean Markley Blue Steels (not heard of Sadwosky Blue Steels)? I might give em a go if they're not too dead'n'dirty!
Sorry I should have said they are the 'Blue Label' and they are steels... these; http://www.sadowsky.com/strings/blue_label.html They aren't dead and dirty, simply came on a 2nd hand Sadowsky and I prefer nickels to steels. Yours if you want them.
 23.
Yeah, I've heard it's a common problem with Warwicks. I've heard a solution is to replace the input jack with a Switchcraft one as they're supposed to be excellent quality.
+1
 24.
Perhaps he means too heavy metal? Slipknot, Black Label Society, countless Norwegian death metal troll bands with singers called Bjorn Fnargarlsssen etc etc
Now the direction that Warwick view their customer base lying... that is another matter!
