  1. Sounds like a mechanical switch, with a 'break-before-make' switching action, rather than a 'make-before-break' switching action. Rather than a switch switching the circuit electronicaly...
  2. Nice, loves the Stat' jack... would go Strat' knobs How cool would that look with some individual saddles mimicking the pickups?
  3. Black, White is too stark and i dont do tort... might be something to do with being colour blind. tort just looks messy to me. Got any clear, or light tint?... 'cos ya got the scratch plate holes... keeps the lines and the vibe... and ya get 30% more wood!
  4. Status have a pdf about fitting their neck... plus detail on their site about neck pocket size. You then have some dimensions to look for in regard to a body.. then as mentioned, maybe a little fine sanding... Pickups may be slightly different in corner radius from a Seymore Duncan to another brand, bridges may differ in string spacing... What other bits are you looking at?
  5. A quick google shows similar models with 3x pots What are your pots doing? VVT, VBT? 3 position Switch? If 'blend' it may be an AC taper pot and someone fitted a switch so you can have both pickups at full(ish) output. Easier to just swap the pot for a switch, thinking about it, it's what i could of done on my SR...
  6. https://coolcarz.co.uk/ http://www.metalflake.co.uk/ Suppliers of paint matetials, but they might tell you who they are supplying in your area...
  7. Tort scratch plate? 😉 Awsome...
  8. Nice texture and colour wood, sort of tea colour... For me, the artwork would have to go... sanded and blended in to the forearm contour. Brushed Brass Scratch plate as a sort of nod to the gold hardware... I don't do tort. If the Pickups are lacking... what ever turns up on sale here to keep the cost down. SD Quarter Pounder on here a week or so back, Think there is a Squire P, which might be a bit better if cheap.
  9. 'Prolly to keep the Jazz Bump... Cheap 12 / 6 or 4 / 6 https://www.gear4music.com/Electric-Guitars/Double-Neck Tele, Strat, P n Strat, SG...
  10. Nice! That would have some stage presence...
  11. Why Does It Hurt When I Pee? - Frank Zappa
  12. Just not a fan of the Beatles presentation... Some great singwriting and when presented by another band, usually has a good twist to the presentation, more of a feel n vibe. Maybe comes down to the Beatles or Stones? Same with The Who. Just dont get it, but a Big Led Zep fan.
  13. Anything by the Beatles...
  14. Most P's and anything with a flat rather than angled back headstock have a string tree for the D and G to keep the strings tight in the nut. Various styles, from the std disc, roller T, or billet hook...
  15. Great Pics... Lovely tag board 'n wiring job.
  16. Bit quiet on here of late. Need a lockdown sawdust fix... come on! Looking back at donslows modded SR300 Itching for a 'filled in' SR... Single P, V 'nT... Plain 'n simples, No extra bollox Loves the SR pebble body... and those SR necks... The EDA900 may have to go.
  17. Channel ya 'Chris Glenn' (SAHB / MSG) Nice!
  18. take off the D string and tuner... if it still rattles its not the D string tuner!
  19. got a pic, open or sealed machine head... any screws or bolts that could do with a nip up? If the open type a removal disassembly and a back together may improve matters, may be with a small washer between screw n pin?
  20. Tuner on the way to the amp... as sometimes you can select a mute... Effects usually in the loop.. Try say the distortion on its own before the amp, then in the loop... Usually EQ, Sound Filters Distortion, Then Modulation Phaser Flanger, Then Time Reverb and Delay... but with a delay, do you want the echos to sound the same? or try a modulation phaser or flanger after the delay, then the echoes will be different... If anything is Stereo you can split up the routing...
  21. If ya insistant... maybe something 50s with an Automotive vibe, oil or 'Gasoline' (see what i did there...) brand, hot rodesque? The orange n blue of the classic 76 would go well. or this... https://www.teepublic.com/en-gb/sticker/544875-rat-rod
  22. Rabbit Rabbit (Chas 'n Dave)
  23. Not many do... even Leo's P 'n J would need a nudge up on the E peg...
  24. It's correct but on the cusp... Sh!t it's close. feeling nervous, palms sweating? The 'big' end could have you fitting!
