  1. I would rather consider its actual value (400 ? 500 ? ) ... Then the refret makes sense if you like the bass enough to play it for the next twenty years 🙂
  2. I like my nemesis amp (NA650). It’s well built and the sound is great. And it’s cheap.
  3. Time for a visit to a good luthier 🙂 Don’t blame the brand : you bought second hand and you don’t know what the bass has endured beforehand…
  4. Thank you. are you happy with the wireless HB ? Do you use it for gigging ?
  5. Thank you i built it, sourcing parts from Thomann and Aliexpress. The case Is made of cheap 12mm plywood from the diy store a lot of sanding (sadly not enough), one coat of sealer and two coats of black paint. i glued some fabric on the inner sides.
  6. Do I dare to post after this spectacular pedalboard ? made myself. Not perfect but really happy 🙂
  7. This brand name is not very popular in France, nor in Belgium.... no one wants to have "bite" written on a headstock... ok, well, maybe a punk rock bassist 🙂
  8. custom order => no option for return... or be prepared for an "interesting" conversation...
  9. My personal experience: I bought a new mim fender P player and it’s a really nice instrument. Maybe I was lucky but it’s a good one. Maple fretboard, ocean turquoise with tort pick guard. The pickup is well balanced and louder than my Custom Shop PJ and sounds less vintage but still a P character . I bought it online, the return policies are really on the customer side, so you risk nothing if you don’t like what you get. but if you have the budget for a G&L, then go for it 🙂
  10. Tom is a great guy to deal with. Clear communication, pedal as described, very happy. Thank you.
  11. Spare cables (same length) spare amp with Di (Warwick gnome) spare bass spare set of strings tools for a bass setup and string change (hex keys, …) maybe too much but I don’t want to spoil a good moment.
  12. Yellow Creep knockin on heaven’s door (guns) you really got me 7 nation army

  15. Thank you for the PJ wiring with the pickup switch Easy deal, easy communication, easy install, good stuff very happy thank you
  16. Other option : keep the three holes system and drill the neck… install the neck, and use the body holes as pilot holes to see where the new holes should be drilled in the neck. three screws are enough…
  17. Next rehearsal: let them listen to a few songs without bass they are easily found on YouTube (keywords : name of the song + bass backing track, …) if they like the songs: then they are deaf. Or worse : they have no groove…in either case : quit 🙂
  18. Expensive but worth it : Fender Custom Shop Closet Classic precision Pro (2011) the neck is a jazz U profile

  20. Sure, that’s why my post was really clear : “for the intended use” and my use is : home practice…
  21. It really depends on the intended use. for example, I have bought recently a Yamaha THR 30 wireless for home practice and for the holidays. It’s packed with a lot of geek functions but I like it a lot. I don’t know if I would need these options for a “real” amp (rehearsal and gig) but it’s a well thought concept for the planned use of this practice amp : - Bluetooth for smartphone backing track - Bluetooth for hidden options setup - 5 users settings (memory) - aux in input - battery - compatible with line6 relay G10 - light - handle on top - tuner - line out stereo but no Di - usb out
  22. Update : I bouth this Gator Case and It's really nice. : https://www.thomann.de/intl/gator_g_pg_e_guitar_bag.htm It's well made and the padding is thick. BEtter design than my Ritter RGS7 bass gigbag : more room to store cables, documents, equipment...
