  1. Hi Bassn'cats, Thanks for your message. I've sent you pm. Alan
  2. What a stunning bass. Is it possible to see photos of the bass as it is now with one of the fingerboard to get a better idea of the action on the bass. Do you have any video available? Thanks. Alan
  3. Fantasic looking bass. Can you tell us what the action is like on the bass? Can the string spacing be changed at all? Ay chance of a photo to see the action and also show off the fingerboard a little clearer? Cheers
  4. Hi, looks like a lovely bass. Any chance of seing a photo of the back of the neck and one that shows the action of the strings against the fingerboard more clearly? Thanks.
  5. Hi HenBarn, I have a Stream liner 600 that runs through two Vanderkleys - a 210 and 112 Ext. I have tried and had most combinations fo basses, amps and cabs in my time and I really do highly rate this particular combination. I tried them out at the Bass Gallery in London. I originally bought the 210 to go with the streamliner but when gigging at high volume I just felt that the sound would benefit from a second cabinet. I would definitely strongly recommend this combination - I no longer play with any effects at all just plug my 5 string celinder bass into the amp and off I go - all setting smore or less on flat and with both cabs running I think that I get a very rounded and full bass that copes very well with the low B bit also delivers a hugely silky top end (not so brittle especially when slapping). It's not a cheap option (and these things are very subjective) but it's definitiely one that I can vouch for. Alan
  6. Hi, is the EBS cabinet still available? Have you had it from new and roughly how old is it? Cheers.
  7. Hi, the heading says that this is an unlined fretless but the photo seems to indicate otherwise - is it a lined or unlined fretless? Cheers.
  8. Hi Lozbass, Thanks for the feedback and advice. Yes, I was thinking if the vertigo would fit the Celinder 5 string and from what oyu have said it looks as if it would... now just need to find soemone who stocks the grey one!
  9. Hi, Thanks for that - not entirely certain if the dimensions are the same as the M80 but I guess that this informaiton might be on the mono website. Thanks for getting back to me though.
  10. Any ideas about whether the Vertigo would fit a 35 inch scale bass with 4 + 1 headstock?
  11. Is this a passive bass? What are the controls please? Ta.
  12. Hi Franner, I'll put my thinking cap on! There must be soemone to take your Modulus out there.
  13. Thanks flippyfloop! It's really good modern jazz type bass.
  14. Hi, Thought that I ought to add that I have owned the bass from new (nov last year I think) and that it is the new style with sleeves for the neck screws rather than the old style neck plate. Alan
  15. Hi Fabinosto, I haven't checked this out but if you are happy to pay the cost of shipping then I am sure that this would be possible to arrange. I have bought basses direct from Sadowsky New York and if they can ship all over the world then I am sure that it would be possible for me to arrange. I don't know what the cost of shipping will be but I guess that you would also need to arrange for it to be insured but this could, I think, be arranged through the shipping company Fed Ex or similar. Regards and thanks for the interest. Alan
  16. Hi Mark ii, Thanks for your message. Yes, the MV4 does have vintage tone control. The eq is volume, balance, VTC, bass and treble. Cheers. Alan
  17. Hello basschatters, Sadowsky Metro Jazz 4 string bass in natural ash with maple board. I am selling this to help finance the acquisition of a 5 string bass that I have had my eye on for a while now. I wouldn't be interested in a trade but would looking for £1200 for a quick sale. [attachment=111355:DSC00425.JPG] [attachment=111356:DSC00424.JPG] I've owned this from new. I've had the Sadowsky for less than a year now and in terms of sound and playability it is just as good, in my view, as its more expensive American cousins. So far as I can see there are no issues with the bass. It has a low action, the truss rod works well and there is only the slightest of wear on the black pickguard. Has VTC control and comes with Sadowsky case. Any questions welcomed. And thanks for looking. Alan
  18. Hi, I assume that this is the same bass that is now up for sale at the Gallery? Is there a reason for why you are moving this on? Would you be interested in a trade for a Sadowsky Metro 4 string? Thanks. Alan
  19. Has anyone tried the Celinder 4 string at bass direct and is able to compare it to a sadowsky metro MV4? Interested in any observations...comments etc
