Yeah yeah that’s how it usually goes on BassChat .. you seem not to see an inch in front of your site-based fanclub .. if you like something it’s not for me to tell you not to like it .. but nobody can’t deny the fact that there’s a slight misalignment in the two lips of the joint, of course, judging from the attached picture .. full stop .. having said that, unfortunately, this site demonstrates once and for all that there’s no room for saying anything that’s not aligned with what a wide array of mutual UK-based acquaintances has decided that must be said … forget my posts thus. Best wishes for the sale. Bye. PS Proud to be a TalkBass member ! PPS If you believe to sell this item without anybody questioning what I have highlighted you’ll be lucky.

See my previous post and open your eyes or use glasses if required .. this site is unbelievable .. ok ok the joint is perfect and the alignment of the clear wood stripes above and below it perfectly match, I was under drugs and could not see the picture clearly .. then, on top of this, is normal to have this kind of longitudinal and horizontal lamination in a multi-wood neck, yes, it’s the standard .. every body does it .. Fender, MM, Rickenbacker, G&L, Sandberg, Warwick, Sadowsky, Elrick, Alembic, Roscoe .. everybody, everybody … need somebody in my opinion to help them ..

The yellow wood (don’t know which kind of) stripes at the top joint do not align perfectly .. it’s clearly shown on the enlarged picture. Thats why I asked why the joint? It makes the build more complicated and the results, as in this case, may not be perfect. This doesn’t mean that the bass sounds very nice and the bass-playing style of Lukasz is super groovy. I would shape the edges, however; they are too squared. For the price, anyway ..

Which EMG PJ set did you install on it? Passive or active pickups? Can you tell me the set model name? EMG solderless pickups have got DuPont coupled terminals whereby the wires have to be divided for being used with screw terminals .. the preamp manual shows what to when using a PJ set? Last but not least … you rerouted the body but the pickguard hasn’t been changed seemingly, so you drilled another set of holes ? What about the original holes? Did you fill them? -

Can send you two basses plus some cash: 1. Fender Classic 50s P bass in fiesta red (relic’d) with EMG PAX active pickup. 2. Luthier’s Biarnel Iter 4c with proprietary electronics and ebony fingerboard. I can send pictures of both if you are interested. The second is a sort of boutique hi-fi jazz bass, completely noiseless (I’d like to talk in Euros as currency). -

Well Beedster, you seem interested overall ins’t it?

Yes, it also reminds me a little of a Fodera Monarch ..

Ah bad for you if you don’t know what it is as it is a very fine example of fully independent design and craftsmanship, Elrick Icon made in Chicago by hand (non CNC although the body shape and neck joints are quite complex) by John Elrick. That is a boutique bass; it’s basically a FSO as well in terms of tone although not patently copied from a Fender Precision such as the green AC in one of the latest post ..

No no .. I’m just waiting for somebody to tell me what I should tell 😤

Ok, so long live Alleva Coppolo basses with their extraordinary features and exorbitant prices .. is it ok like this ? 👍

No you’re wrong .. they don’t do the same job .. Ferrari can travel at 320km/h, a Ford Focus not .. these are tangible data, facts. There’s, as minimum, a 100% speed gap between the two cars. To say that there’s a 100% performance gap between a comparable Fender (CS) and an AC bass it may not be as easy to prove, that’s why I’m arguing. This is a FSO (Fender Shaped Object - less FSO than an AC however) which I’d eagerly pay the asked price for (and I’ll surely do in future) as it comes with a really deluxe finish, selectable exotic woods, master-level body-neck joint, proprietary and brilliantly designed bridge and a lightweight as only a feather can be: Other example: Oh My Gawd ... Sorry no competition here albeit to each one his/her own ! ✌️

I was not specifically referring to you .. I replied to a lot of users and I agree with you there’s no point in arguing. I’ve made a statement that may or may not have grounds based on the particular musical goals of each of us; I’m sorry if somebody got annoyed by my words. That clearly wasn’t my intention; BassChat is a good community where to talk and share ideas (also TB IMO although I felt that it doesn’t have a lot of followers here). 👍
