RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE

Thanks guys . Yeah , I've posted a few threads about this In such a short time 2mb /5 volts .gold dust . Only used it a couple of times , and like it . Frustrating tho' about the tiny amount of time to record each sample . Looks like i should bite the bullet.

Last week, I purchased a boss sp 202from eBay . It's almost 20 years old. It's very easy to use. The only problem I have , is that it needs a smart media card . ( the equivalent of an s d card) I've only seen one available . Of course I have to go to eBay , and an American seller has it. It will cost between£50-55. I do like this sampler, and would imagine something else would be more complicated to use. Not sure whether to keep it , and get the expensive card , or sell it . Your thoughts ?

I've got tone port ux1 It will do everything that you require . I often listen to iTunes , or a radio station on there. I've just purchased an old Roland sampler, which can be plugged into the ' monitor ' section. The podfarm stuff is quite good too

Thanks for the bad news;( I've more or less committed to buying the above ( only £5 tho') I'm waiting for a reply . Also waiting for Roland to reply( tho I doubt if they can help) Looks like it could be a costly and painful search. The voltage seems hard to come by.

I'm after 2mb/ 5 volt media card . Just received an email from a shop telling me , they only have 4mb/ 5 volts . (For my boss sampler). Would this work? Please advise again Cheers;)

Some of you have seen my ads, requiring memory cards for old boss equipment . I know the chance of getting them there , is virtually zero. Just wondering if they are helpful etc .

I've managed to do a proper search. I don't think they should be too hard to track down. As big stu said, they were mainly made for cameras . The type I need are ; s2m-5, or s4m-5 . Wish me luck .

Just flicked through the thread at the moment. On the Metallica fan can 1 , they stopped King nothing because of wrong tuning( laming Jason ) . Started again and everything' was cool

I have the manual , but it doesn't say a great deal

TBH , it's probably best to either practice a lot more on your technique , or forget about it . When slap is good , it's good . Having said that , even then a lot of bassists hate it . When slap is not so good , it's a bit like a slinky failing down the stairs. Not right .

Have a word with your local hash converters . Hope you get it back
