I like the reviews on the Hyper Luminal Compressor and I am a sucker for Compressor pedals as I own five. This looks like it will probably end up on my pedal board but the current price of £235.00 is stopping me getting it at the moment. I think I will hang on for a bit and wait for more reviews before taking the plunge.

I too like his film review show and his book looks like an interesting read. He is also a massive Who fan, which ticks my boxes!

The MONO Gig Bags look good, they are available to house one or two Guitars/Basses. Here is video showing how strong they are when a Guitar is thrown down a set of stairs.

You are probably looking at around 12 months before you receive it!........I have ordered 2 EB Basses and they both took just over 12 months to arrive. There was one Guy over on the EB forum who waited over a year and he was based in the US.......😮

Yes they are, I have just taken another look with the image enlarged. Is that a flame neck, it looks different to my birdseye Classic neck but looks really good.

Yes that is right!...........The reason being is that I use a TC Electronic BH250 Amplifier and the Spectracomp does not work great with it probably due to Toneprint compatability on both items when used at the same time. So if I am using the BH250 Amp I use the MXR Compressor instead of the Spectracomp.

I don't do gigs anymore so my Gorilla Stand pedal board is attached to the wall above my PC desk which makes it easier to get to with my hands rather than my feet. I too will purchase used instead of ordering new from EB. The new prices are far too much along with the wait time of 12 months for it to be delivered is pathetic. It should not take 12 months for a guitar that is machined to be made and sent to the UK from the US. If it was 1918 I could understand it but not in 2018.

I'm the same, I couldn't go back to a single band Compressor after purchasing a Multiband Spectracomp. It sounds good though!

There is a Guy over on TB who seems to know what he is talking about when it comes to anything that is Ampeg related, and he states that tonally the PF-20 is closer to a B-15 and the PF-50 is closer to a V-4B.

I think you have got it all wrong!........If you don't practice then you are letting yourself down and not the tutor, who is still getting paid whether you progress or not. You are concentrating too much on pleasing your tutor and not yourself. If you carry on with that approach you will never advance!

I love these strings!......I currently have them on 3 of my Basses and they are the brightest Flat currently on the market. They are brighter and have more tension than Chromes, and along with my TI's they are my favourite strings.

I have just purchased a Fender Player Series P Bass and I am looking to change the stock pups. I have heard a lot of good feedback on the GZR pups and I wondered if any members have them in their P Bass and if so how do you rate them?
