Another fan here, have purchased at least 8 basses from Mark and the gang over the years, all were delivered perfectly, set-up well, well packaged and they are always happy to help. Hope they are reading these comments!

I have been saving for quite a while for my dream Fretless a Wal MK (anything) in four or five string, then early this morning I get a mail from a mate who has seen one for sale on the Bass Gallery and go to the website immediately, I eagerly pop ithe beauty into the basket and pay. I am over the moon with the thought of my dreams coming true, I receive the email confirmation and then try and work out how to hide it from the other half and two hours later I get a phone call from them, and my face goes from smile to frown in a second, there is a mix up and someone bought it overnight via bank transfer... ouch and double blooming ouch! Not so smiling Steve.

That’s just lovely, the current waiting list is over 3 years and they don’t appear to lock in the current price, so in 3 plus years you may be paying considerably more than the current stated £6.5k. Sorely tempted, but the other half knows exactly Wal are the Rolls Royce of basses and I won’t have picked it up for a fiver! 😉 Good luck with the sale!

Stunning Sterling by Musicman Ray34 in quilted maple finish with roasted maple neck. £545 for bass chatters plus postage. 3eq, in wonderful unmarked condition with wrap still in place on pick guard. Barely played since new, purchased earlier this year. Comes with original Sterling padded nylon carry bag. (Please note also advertised elsewhere) UK sale only, happy to send via courier. I usually use ParcelForce 24 tracked and insured cost to buyer is £32.

Thanks for the support guys I now seem to have the same gas for Synths as I have for Bass... Well almost! I have approached a fairly local repair tech Synth Prof, lots of high recommendations.
-
Probably, but they are as rare as hens teeth and I have been searching for a year for one, the price I paid wasn't too bad. I don't mind paying for a service and repair if required, just trying to find a reputable repair business that can return her to better days. 😉

Hi All, I am recently started going back to the analogue eighties and purchased a couple of old synths. Unfortunately an eBay punt for a 1985 Roland JX8P has slightly backfired, and despite assurances of no issues and complete working order this is not quite the case having taken delivery of the keyboard, apart from needing an overall service there is a slight issue with a couple of the key's sticking (possibly internal dust and grime?) - I'd rather not attempt an amateur repair. Does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable repair business, possibly based in the south? (one that doesn't hold on to them for months on end without actually working on them!) Kind Regards, Steve.
