  1. So, you have your dream bass in mind, in your dream finish, you wait for a long, long time for it to appear for sale. You decide eventually that it’s just not going to happen, so you pull the trigger on the dream bass, but not in the finish you are after, then two weeks later your dream bass, in the dream finish appears for sale!!!??? I have just bought a Rickenbacker 4003 in ruby red, less than a fortnight later, my dream finish ‘blue boy’ appears. I had been looking for one for years, so having given up my chances of one appearing, I pulled the trigger on a lovely ruby red finish. Arghh! Pretty sure others have a similar tale to tell. P.S I am very happy with the ruby red 😉 Steve.
  2. Now that’s very nice and local, glwts.

  4. My old baby! Broke my heart parting with her, the best fretless out there for me. Chris is a top bloke and a dream to deal with, buy with confidence and the Pedulla practically plays itself, well nearly.
  5. Fender Jazz Ultra £1,400 plus courier (Prefer a cash sale, but trade wise a Rickenbacker 4003 in Midnight blue would do it) Very sadly I need to split up my blues brothers Fenders, (as photographed) for sale is my beautiful US Fender Jazz Ultra in Cobra Blue. 6. Beautiful. I am holding out for a Midnight Blue finish but very tempting. Glwts.
  7. Pino”s playing on Paul Youngs No Parlez album, just brilliant. John Entwhistle on the Who’s Next album Derek Forbes work particularly on the Sons and fascination\Sister Feelings Call album and Mick Karn on the 1979 release Quiet Life and the 81 Tin Drum album.
  8. Hi, Loving my new Fender Ultra jazz in cobra blue, but not a big fan of the stock pick guard and looking for a replacement. The problem is the pick guard appears to be unique, with a 9 screw hole finish. Have looked high and low in the UK, but cannot find anywhere that can supply, in fact could only find a custom supplier in the states that can supply. I believe they are custom made as Fender do not appear to manufacture replacements for the current flag ship model. Anyone potentially know of a UK supplier? Cheers, Steve.
  9. Always wanted one of these and I am just down the road in Ely… very tempted. Stunning basses.
  10. My only issue would be the same one levelled against the ‘Gallery’ where you can add a bass to the basket, pay for it to then be told sorry, someone got in there before you, I presume that bigger outfits such as GAK or Andertons have more expensive stock control systems that update the levels upon a purchase. this stung me when (for 9 hours) I was the proud paid up owner of a Wal MK1 only to be informed the next morning at 9:30am someone bought it an hour before me, but the bass was still showing as available.
  11. That’s a beaut, I had a green one of these back in the day, have regretted selling it ever since. Nice and light I seem to recall. GLWTS!!
  12. Brian bought my Aria SB 1000 and was a total gentlemen. Top bloke.
