    Sounds possible to me, most of the info says it changed about 1970 , so a transition time could probably have either, I’d have thought they overlapped at some point

    Didn’t fender stop using the added strap button around 69 so they could be the wrong year tuners

    I found this deep in my learning videos from a long time back when I wanted to learn more about slap , it’s not the best sound quality but there’s some good exercises on there , someone has pinned the exercises in the replies which is useful, might be worth a look

    I’ve had quite a few, i like a large clear display so quite a long time back I bought one of these for not much money and its been great, a new one came up on eBay so I bought it for a spare , I was going to buy one of the expensive ones but this does the job well

    Haven’t touched alcohol for nearly 10 years now ,but when I did it definitely didn’t work well with playing, I’d forget the notes ,be out of time and generally just sound dreadful.. not much different to now really 😁

    Apparently there’s good and bad from all different years although I’ve never played a bad one, maybe I’ve just been lucky, yours certainly looks great, I’d be well happy with that, congrats

    From what I can see it all looks good , some have the black plastic gasket under the neckplate but I’ve also seen many without it , very good condition

    Yeah I had a few of those, one I wished I’d kept, I think they were around from about 2003 until 2008
