  1. Never heard that before, I’ve only ever known the Third World version
  2. This is similar to how I use my jazz elite in active, treble off and mid at half, but I have to back off the bass a bit or it’s too much, even for reggae, very clear sounding though, even with no treble
  3. Thanks very much Buddster, wasn’t sure if wireless would work, cheers
  4. Quick question about these, do you just plug it into your bass and use wireless headphones and do you have to use the app for it to work
  5. That was the same as me, I’ve no use for slap reggae 😁, but I wanted to be able to play one tune I really like which is Forget me Nots, I watched so many videos and tutorials but couldn’t get it right , I ended up having lessons , imo it’s much harder than it looks and takes up a lot of time, I don’t like the really fast stuff but this is pretty cool
  6. Not sure really, it’s just one of those songs that I have to turn off when I hear it, I think it was overplayed a lot at one time
  7. Mustang sally 😬
  8. Vintage bass world can be handy for a general overview, just put the year in on the database http://vintagebassworld.com/description.php?manufacturer=Fender&product=Jazz&year=1970
  9. Out of interest I just looked at my AVRI 62 and it’s the same as the other strap buttons
  10. His precision bass one is good too
  11. Sounds possible to me, most of the info says it changed about 1970 , so a transition time could probably have either, I’d have thought they overlapped at some point
  12. Really nice, wasn’t they made in the USA too
  13. So they are all replacements
  14. Yeah I think so
  15. Didn’t fender stop using the added strap button around 69 so they could be the wrong year tuners
  16. The E tuner is a replacement?
  17. Never heard them called that but I suppose they do look like it 😁, here you go
  18. Always liked Garibaldi ,but recently dark chocolate digestives
  19. I was playing the Babylon soundtrack today, gonna watch the film again, remember this one
  20. And you’d have to stop every 20 minutes for a munchies break 😋
  21. Two totally different instruments at different price points imo, and the 76 is overpriced at 4K 🙂
  22. I found this deep in my learning videos from a long time back when I wanted to learn more about slap , it’s not the best sound quality but there’s some good exercises on there , someone has pinned the exercises in the replies which is useful, might be worth a look
  23. Nice one Marcus, sounds great and glad you got sorted
  24. I’ve had quite a few, i like a large clear display so quite a long time back I bought one of these for not much money and its been great, a new one came up on eBay so I bought it for a spare , I was going to buy one of the expensive ones but this does the job well
  25. It is, now in Bournemouth
