  1. Lovely
  2. Great one, haven’t heard that in a long time, I think the album I remember the most from back then is Handsworth Revolution, and probably one of their most known tracks is this, Prediction is a good one too
  3. Back to 1980 tonight with this one, it was in the uk charts
  4. As much as you try and convince me.. I’m not buying the album 😁
  5. I’ve got one of these, so good for the money
  6. I heard that shaking stevens at pontins was busy
  7. Some of may know Johnny Osbourne, he’s recently released a new album and is still touring and still sounds great aged 75 , if you’ve still got it then don’t stop
  8. I was just going to ask the same question 😁, it looks good but he won’t post it, good luck
  9. Always use 2 alternating, I’ve never played anything fast enough to have to use 3
  10. Nice work, this should be pinned somehow for future reference
  11. Hi eloisa and welcome, thanks for sharing that , great Bassline there, nice tune
  12. I played precision’s first for a long time and then got hooked on jazzes for many years, I’m now back to precision’s for 2 reasons, 1 , i like the simplicity and 2 , I really like the sound, if I’m after a smoother deeper sound I use the jazzes, I think it’s good to have both, I don’t have much experience with squire , maybe try some US ones and see what you think
  13. Thanks Rich and itu 🙏, I have so many but I’m going to pick 3 off the top of my head which are different in their own ways , one from Flabba Holt with Johnny osbourne, from 3.25 you can hear the Bassline more isolated, the timing ,note lengths and space changes are so good and one from Robbie Shakespeare from one of the later albums Love Restart, the whole album is really good I would recommend it, some really nice Basslines and one from Clinton fearon who was in the gladiators and is a good bass player himself , Mato Cirade a reggae bass player from France plays for him now , this is a good one to play and not quite as easy as it might look, I could go on and on 😁, hope you enjoy
  14. King Tubby and David isaacs , really like this production
  15. Just watched an interview with Andy Hess on his 63 precision and he played it on this track,
  16. Welcome Dave
  17. Sorry to hear this, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for you
  18. I’ll go for this one too
  19. That 73 looks great, how did you get on converting it, did it work out well
