  1. They wasn’t very practical for me, when I played near the neck they didn’t interfere at all which is a lot of the time, but sometimes I like to rest on the front pickup, and playing with the thumb I rest on the bridge, they do look cool though, and a good idea about the double sided tape
  2. Looking good BassAgent, congrats
  3. Thanks for that Maude , I use the Yamaha sessioncake sometimes but was hoping this was wireless with headphones
  4. I know quite a lot of the O’jays tracks but that one was a new one for me, thanks Chris
  5. Weight has never really bothered me, strangely I don’t like basses that are super light, I’m happy to take the these heavy ones
  6. Never heard that before, I’ve only ever known the Third World version
  7. This is similar to how I use my jazz elite in active, treble off and mid at half, but I have to back off the bass a bit or it’s too much, even for reggae, very clear sounding though, even with no treble
  8. Thanks very much Buddster, wasn’t sure if wireless would work, cheers
  9. Quick question about these, do you just plug it into your bass and use wireless headphones and do you have to use the app for it to work
  10. That was the same as me, I’ve no use for slap reggae 😁, but I wanted to be able to play one tune I really like which is Forget me Nots, I watched so many videos and tutorials but couldn’t get it right , I ended up having lessons , imo it’s much harder than it looks and takes up a lot of time, I don’t like the really fast stuff but this is pretty cool
  11. Not sure really, it’s just one of those songs that I have to turn off when I hear it, I think it was overplayed a lot at one time
  12. Mustang sally 😬
  13. Vintage bass world can be handy for a general overview, just put the year in on the database http://vintagebassworld.com/description.php?manufacturer=Fender&product=Jazz&year=1970
  14. Out of interest I just looked at my AVRI 62 and it’s the same as the other strap buttons
  15. His precision bass one is good too
  16. Sounds possible to me, most of the info says it changed about 1970 , so a transition time could probably have either, I’d have thought they overlapped at some point
  17. Really nice, wasn’t they made in the USA too
  18. So they are all replacements
  19. Yeah I think so
  20. Didn’t fender stop using the added strap button around 69 so they could be the wrong year tuners
  21. The E tuner is a replacement?
  22. Never heard them called that but I suppose they do look like it 😁, here you go
  23. Always liked Garibaldi ,but recently dark chocolate digestives
  24. I was playing the Babylon soundtrack today, gonna watch the film again, remember this one
  25. And you’d have to stop every 20 minutes for a munchies break 😋
