  1. Andy has just put up another nice jazz in one of the best colours imo https://www.andybaxterbass.com/products/1962-fender-jazz-bass-olympic-white-slab-board
  2. It’s all in the mojo and magic dust 🙂, are they better, possibly not but they are certainly different, I think it’s just what you find more appealing, will my 2019 jazz still be around in 63 years like the one above, I really don’t know
  3. It has everything to do with age, you won’t find a 68 P less money than a 72, I’ve been looking for a 68 for quite a while and there’s none for sale, 68 are always 6k and a 72 is 4K now
  4. I don’t know anything about entwistle , but from what I can gather from the story it’s not the 68 they thought it might be, perhaps some here might know more , id say price difference would be around 2K ish
  5. Looks like this one turned out to be a 72 and not a 68 as they thought
  6. Bit of a closer look and a sound clip here
  7. These are quality precisions, I’ve got one and really like them, GLWYS
  8. Great tune eloisa, I’ve always liked Alborosie and this is mine and my boys favourite track
  9. It is really nice and I know there’s not many around that are all original ,but I’m not sure I could part with 28K for it , I think it will sell though, 63 years old, original , and still going strong is amazing
  10. I’ve had similar here, I messaged about a bass cab and and would they post it, they replied yeah sure, then total silence, I understand people ignoring me 😁, but I thought they might want my money
  11. That’s a nice bit of playing there, never seen that video
  12. I don’t think it was overpriced and someone has got a nice bass there, thank you, good luck with your search
  13. I saw it advertised and was tempted myself, hope you find something more suitable Geek
  14. Wouldn’t you already have the necessary pictures if you were intending to sell it for any prospective buyers
  15. Ah , apologies jack, google was my friend there, I’ve heard of a lot more in your list , thanks
  16. Out of curiosity I had a look at the 1969 top 20, I know some of them but didn’t realise sweet Caroline was that old
  17. Sounds like a wonderful opportunity for someone, I doubt spaces like this come up very often, hope you find someone and all the best with your retirement pete
  18. Had to look him up, it does sound like him, maybe it was recorded in Blackpool 😁
  19. My man Linval Thompson , rock me dub version, great Bassline
  20. Wow jazzy that’s beautiful, strange about the number dating
  21. I’ve got my basses on wall hangers and they haven’t hit the wall yet, if you are concerned then a piece of foam near the bottom stuck to the wall with double sided tape should do the trick
  22. I had every intention to buy it but it would have been a long journey, so sending a few pictures would have told me weather it was worth doing, I’m not going to make a 6 hour drive to find out there’s no neck stamp , anyone selling a vintage instrument should have the standard pictures of parts and serial numbers everyone would ask to see , it did eventually sell but not to me 🙂
  23. If you like the B15 there’s an interesting video here you might enjoy, quite informative I thought ,and the end part has made me dig out my PF50T for tomorrow
  24. Guitar Info Your guitar was made at the Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era), USA in 1977 - 1978 Production Number: 39401
