  1. That’s a great one fb ☝️, I see what you’re saying ,about the timing
  2. Yeah I like that , cheers Raslee , I’ll have to watch a tutorial to see what’s going on
  3. I found this one, it’s really funky and great for keeping the groove in the pocket
  4. Very nice von Braun ☝️
  5. Not sure if you see this myke from ChrisDev , if it helps . https://basslessons.be/transcriptions.php?i=547
  6. Hi and welcome garnfield 👍, if you look down the fretboard from the headstock end, is it straight or does it have a slight back bow 🙂
  7. Have you tried playing a few different genres of music to what you normally play lownote, only saying because I’ve been dabbling in a bit of funk lately and I would say it’s improved my playing, aswell as giving me another interest 🙂
  8. Or buy a five string 🤐😁
  9. I’ve had to work all through lockdown, so no change for me, l play for 1-2 hours a night weekdays ,and on and off all day weekends , I would’ve loved to be locked up with my jazzes 🙂
  10. Any pics VB,it sounds cool 🙂
  11. Great looking cab, it might sound a bit bright with 2 tweeters 😁
  12. Welcome Dave ☝️
  13. Thanks Raslee 👍, yeah you’re right, they had the custom shop 60s Pickups after 2012 and the graphite Neck rods
  14. I’d stay away from that one , it’s not a fender 🙂
  15. I’ve never got on with a thumb rest, my 62RI came with the thumb rest fitted below the strings as a tug bar which I took off, but it’s personal preference , you could try fitting it with some double sided tape first to see if you like it TJ, rather than drill holes straight away 🙂
  16. Many thanks old man riva ☝️, after my flatwound string quest, I’ve settled on the LTFs , and I’ve slowly fitted them to all my jazzes , except a few which have had labella deep talking fitted for years, I find the tension is just right and they add a nice mid sound , and the lows are really clear🙂
  17. Superb, 👍, is it jazz width nut
  18. Thanks nile ☝️
  19. I had a similar problem recently , I’ve currently got the iPad pro and thought I would use my older iPad for GarageBand , but it only goes to iOS 12, I don’t know how true it is , but I read somewhere that you can change it by plugging it into a laptop, is that possible?
  20. Definitely FDC, it’s my favourite colour combo, even miss RB said to me, what another white one 😁
  21. After moving from precision’s to jazzes about 6 years ago, I went through many to find my ideal one that sounded and felt good, I sold a few I shouldn’t have done , but last week I bought another 2014 US one, and I would say it’s definitely well up there as my perfect jazz 🙂
  22. Glen Browne breaks down a nice Bassline here, sounds good at 6.30
  23. Great idea for a thread Paul, I’ve often posted things that are on this channel in the daily awesomeness thread but not everyone sees it, or they ignore me 😂
  24. I think it’s all just a learning curve, you don’t know if it’s gonna be the one unless you try it, and if it isn’t what you thought just move it on, I’ve been through sooo many jazzes(over 40) looking for the holy grail , including custom shops which I moved on, So I’ve settled on a 2014 US jazz ,it’s superb, I also have a 5 string and I do enjoy it, but if I’m honest with myself, I prefer 4s , so I treat it as something that’s fun to play now and again but not as my main bass, I also found that I got so caught up in buying gear that I neglected actually playing 🙂
