Sweet tune here from Roland Burrell, don’t think we’ve had this one, I can’t track down who played bass on this

They fix with double sided tape, I originally had it on one of my jazzes and it came off with no damage, but I wouldn’t trust that to happen to one with a nitro finish

I’ve got a bassmute fitted on one of my precisions, they are great, easy and quick to click on, but they are expensive, I also use foam, and I’ve never used one but I’ve heard these are good

I’ve still got my vinyl going back to around 1977, it’s stored in my loft but I do bust it out now and again, I used to buy from , daddy kool record shop and red records in Brixton 🙂

This is my favourite max Romeo track, it’s from the , War ina Babylon album 1976, and the first one is with tiken Jah fakoly, with Robbie on bass, it’s a great one to play

I’ve got a few days off for Easter so I’m going to work on this, I’ve got the basic Bassline together , but as usual Robbie Shakespeare adds little changes and fills throughout the song, I’m having a bit of trouble breaking a few of them down, so I’ll be working on them, I normally slow the track down and listen very closely for the notes, for example at 0.25 and 0.37, ( probably a separate question but is it the end of bar 4 or 7 he changes the fill if I’m counting that he varies it ?
