  1. Feel this one
  2. Thanks for that, I’ve just ordered a copy 👍
  3. Love a bit of king tubby ☝️, I’ve just been playing this
  4. Maybe push the pickup in a bit to take the pressure off the screws when you are unscrewing , I’m guessing there’s foam or a spring underneath pushing it up 🙂
  5. Sly and Robbie heavy Bassline
  6. They all sound good ,and listening through headphones I’d say the natural or sunburst slightly has the edge for me , nice playing btw ☝️
  7. I find it really hard to double thumb, I’ve got it a few times but it was more luck than judgement 😁
  8. Welcome DB 👍
  9. There’s a mixture of tracks here by various artists and some good big youth tunes , definitely worth a flick through
  10. Woodpeckers 😁
  11. @SumOne, you may have already seen it but Glen Browne talk’s about the thumb in capture land 🙂
  12. When I got my vinyl out one day my little boy asked what it was, when I explained he said, ah, so it’s a big CD then 😁
  13. Flabba thumb style
  14. I think I’ll give that one a miss, a bit too technical for me 😁
  15. I tried by ear but there was a few little parts I couldn’t quite get so I found this video dave, and it was helpful
  16. BB 300 just on eBay if anyone is looking
  17. The D and G strings do sound a lot quieter with the thumb, so I tend to add a bit more pressure to compensate or turn the volume up a touch, I also find some Basslines sound better, especially some of Flabba holts ones, he plays with the thumb a lot
  18. I’ve got a few days off and was playing around with different tones on my recent amp, and I ended up starting to learn this, I found it a bit trickier than it first sounds, it’s a great Bassline
  19. Welcome back SS2 👍
  20. Heavy Bassline tonight
  21. I’ve forgot a few leads before but never my fingers 😂
  22. This might be a silly question but can’t you just turn it over
