  1. I found the custom build a tricky one, I did this and on paper and in pictures it was absolutely perfect , everything I wanted in a bass, and it was a superb build , but I could never really gel with it 100% , and ended up losing money
  2. I didn’t think you’d sell that one Al 🙂
  3. There’s a few I wouldn’t sell and they are both jazzes, lots have come and gone but these 2 are staying , they just set up with a really low action 1.5mm and play really nice
  4. Skin tight funky feel
  5. It’s a good question, in my experience the only way you find out what you like is to buy them , play them for a while, and see if they work for you, I’ve gassed over many and some expensive and they were just meh, it’s a good learning curve, it’s fender precision’s and jazzes for me now 🙂
  6. If you want it, just buy it, I don’t think your playing ability comes in to it , I just buy what I like 🙂
  7. Round my son’s for dinner and he put this on, so good
  8. Welcome FBD 👍
  9. I used a precision for years and although i could get the lows from it it’s nothing like the clean deep lows I get from my jazzes, mind you, the big baby ll does help 😁
  10. Have you deleted them from, my attachments on your profile 🙂
  11. With all the changes it’s a hard one to authenticate
  12. Very nice and a 4 bolt neck 👍

  14. Hi BB, it’s not a stupid question it can take a while to find your way around, if you go to wanted ads and then start a new topic 👍 https://www.basschat.co.uk/forum/22-items-wanted-no-trades/
  15. Welcome Luka 👍
  16. Jazzes are what I play the most , and I find that tweaking the pickups /tone controls just very slightly can change the sound completely , have a good tweak about to find the sweet spot you’re looking for. just as an aside, I recently bought an Ampeg classic preamp pedal and the sound variations is really great
  17. I play with a light touch too, pretty much what you said Cato is mentioned in marks latest video 👍
