  1. That looks like Indiana Jones 😁
  2. I’m the same, when I went from 4’s to 5’s it didn’t really bother me , I’m back to 4’s now , but if a neck is deep from front to back or chunky, I find them uncomfortable
  3. I’ve heard good things about them, but I just can’t do that headstock 🙂
  4. Doesn’t the duff McKagan P have a jazz neck , nice looking bass
  5. I’m one of those people who likes a P bass with a jazz neck and I’ve switched a few over myself, I also have a 1998 P bass special which is factory supplied with a jazz neck but it has a jazz pickup at the bridge which I always have rolled off
  6. I did notice it was shinier than the others, bit naughty really as it says All original
  7. Lovely grain on the neck on this, if it was in the UK I’d definitely have to have a look https://reverb.com/uk/item/48299598-fender-precision-bass-1966-sunburst
  8. Long time no hear, bad boys
  9. I don’t know anything about these, but here’s a review in a new video from Don chandler on a low budget bass
  10. Change your tap 😁
  11. No problem, your welcome 👍
  12. I’ve got these in one of my precision’s, they really are great and well worth it 👍
  13. Matt I had a look in my parts drawer and I’ve got an old bridge off a fender jazz that I replaced because someone had changed one of the saddles , the intonation screw is 42mm long, if it’s any good to you I’ll pop the saddle and screw in the post to you
  14. How does a 440 watt amp deliver 800 w 🤔
  15. Welcome Chazzy 👍 , don is a great teacher
  16. That wasn’t very helpful really was it , I thought they might have sent you a few to try
  17. Great video, I watched that one the other day, I’d never heard of him up to about a year ago when I watched this one, I think he’s a really good player and I like his technique
  18. Alton Ellis tops version at 4.20
  19. Welcome Drew 👍
  20. I don’t find Deep Talking very high tension, they do break in nicely, but I’ve got 2 sets of the 760M with blue silk , which I think are the Jamerson ones in the drawer, they are too high tension for me, and fender ones are very high too
  21. I’m a big fan of Sean Hurley’s playing style, the guy can groove
  22. Not so much dub ,but a nice reggae Bassline to play that’s not too difficult is this, its one of my old time favourites, it’s more about getting the feel and you can play just behind the beat on this , cut the treble and turn up the bass 🙂 I know you like your metal and punk, and I’m not sure if it’s something you would like, but years ago I remember the Clash did a sort of reggae album
  23. Yeah, I’m a bit gutted that I don’t get on with the neck’s, that woofer is a beast
