  1. Think it was Vincent Marsh there’s a few versions out there on channel one
  2. An oldie from Michael Palmer, nice Bassline on this
  3. Lots of nice basses there but nothing I’m looking for at the moment, the 1962 jazz above would be nice though
  4. I thought it had sold until he bumped it this morning, no problem, enjoy your bass it looks great
  5. Yeah definitely, they do look nice, I’d like to try one
  6. Just my opinion and because I’m a fender fan boy, but for what the modern vintage cost I’d be looking at the AVRI models like the 62/63 or earlier, if you can find one, I’ve been looking for a while and there’s not many around
  7. I also like Robbie’s early PRS with the 3 pickups, I nearly bought one last year
  8. Nothing’s changed at all really, blues and reggae from a very young age, enjoyed the house and jungle period but always reggae and dub to this day
  9. This could have the makings of a TV program cato 😁
  10. I don’t really have a limit, if I played something that really impressed me I’d buy it
  11. There’s a magnum lV on gumtree but it’s different to the one above , it’s got an eq on it
  12. Never played one of those but I’d like to try one, nice deep bass from what I’ve heard
  13. Looks like the one in my book, only 15 frets
  14. If you fancy listening to one of the lesser well known artists I can recommend checking out Delton Screechie, one album is Living In The Ghetto Showcase, there’s another suffering in the ghetto in dub but there’s not much on YouTube, here’s a couple .
  15. Been revisiting some of Alain M’s videos lately for practice material, nice mix here
  16. Welcome Alexander 👍
  17. A bit of Matumbi today
  18. I happened to watch Summer Holiday with cliff Richard yesterday (I know I know 😁) anyway ,the film was 1963 and I noticed the red precision being played by one of the shadows , such a nice looking P , not sure if it’s the original colour I haven’t done any research but a cool precision
  19. Thanks very much Chili, great advice, the reason I asked about the pino is I was offered one at a good price, I’m not very familiar with the model but it sold before I got a chance to try it
  20. Welcome joel 👍
  21. Very nice, glad you got it sorted, just curious, do you notice much difference in sound with your changed pickups
