  1. Learning to play a 5 a few years back was one of the best things I did, it was great fun learning and I still play it now and again but for me it confirmed that I prefer 4 strings 🙂
  2. I saw that Quilly and I can’t believe that no one bought it, if I didn’t have my V-4B I would have had it, I like my ss amps for convenience but for me the sound of valves is so nice
  3. I’m guessing it’s been put together by someone, so a bitsa possibility or very rare, looks kinda cool though
  4. That’s what I was wondering as I don’t think I’ve seen a bound one on a precision, apparently the neck is stamped 68 A
  5. Strange one here, it’s advertised as a 1967 precision with a factory fitted jazz neck ?
  6. It’s worth keeping an eye out on here for them, lots of people try them and sell them on for whatever reason. i like my flats when they are played in ,so I’ve got a thing with a few BC’ers here who message me after they’ve had their labella’s on for a while and change them for new ones, so I buy their used ones , which comes in handy when I get new basses 🙂
  7. Glad to help , I’m no expert like some here , you’ve got a really great one there , well done 👍
  8. On a little Dennis brown one this morning
  9. Thanks, I don’t normally use the bridge pickup , does that mean I would get hum from just using the neck pup
  10. Thanks for that , very helpful 👍
  11. A good setup that your happy with will make all the difference to your playing, it’s well worth it 🙂
  12. Nice one, thanks Lozz, would the QPs have more lows than the stock ones for reggae, do you think
  13. That’s a nice setup, I used markbass for years, only with 15s, I sold my amps but I’m keeping the cabs, a precision will sound really good through that, nice one ☝️
  14. I’m no slapper, but I think even I can do better than that 😁
  15. Great scientist track here, my lady’s dub
  16. I normally only buy all original basses, for some reason the pickups have been changed in this from the stock noiseless ones to Seymour Duncan SJB-3 Quarter Pound ones, Could anyone tell me what difference is between them, a friend of mine has the elite and it sounds great as it is are the ones fitted better, cheers 🙂 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-2015-American-Jazz-Bass-Elite-Olympic-White-/194785375671?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  17. Thanks, that’s a really great collection you got there
  18. Thanks for that, I did wonder what the difference was as I’ve got Junjo wins the World Cup 👍
  19. Thanks for that Cato, I never thought of that, some have a tube and some have a mouthpiece, which was yours 🙂
