  1. Thanks for that myke, love the six of the best list in the corner, the number 2 by Errol Dunkley happens to be one of my favourite tracks and Basslines
  2. I came across a track today that I really like and I don’t remember hearing back in the day, around 1979, it was written by Tabby cat Kelly who I’m not familiar with, it was produced by Dennis Bovell , and to me I can hear a similar vibe to Matumbi , I’ll have to do some more digging to find out who played on this, anyone know anything
  3. Stuck in traffic in Walthamstow listening to the chantells
  4. Really nice, I like that 👍

  9. Been enjoying turning up the volume to this classic lately
  10. I’m happy to, and expect to do a basic setup on a bass I’ve ordered because I play with a very low action, but if the nut needs work or replacing then to me that’s a manufacturer fault and should be returned and refunded, or exchanged for one your happy with
  11. Stunner, that fingerboard looks so nice 👌

  15. According to my book the earliest saddles were made from pressed fibres ,and steel saddles replaced them in 1954, also the bass serial number was stamped on the early bridge plate
  16. You could try asking here, there’s some very knowledgeable people there that might be able to help , and some good reading too
  17. Looks the right shape to me but it’s hard to tell, here’s a genuine one from Andy Baxter if it’s any help
  18. Dub version of Waricka hill, great melodica by Pablo
  19. I like the heavy ones they are more stable, blum hinges are on most kitchens and wardrobes
  20. Nice job Si, the pillar drill looks good, I use mine occasionally for Blum hinges, great space you got there
