1.
cool bass bump
Very nice sounding bass IMO.. I have an 80s BC Rich Eagle with the same p/up configuration and it sounds great! GLWTS
 2.
Blimey Moses - is the venue big enough?
This could be the best opportunity ever for 51m0n to do a 'sell-out' talk on Compression!
 3. You're welcome Will! Likewise, you're a real Gent also and a credit to Basschat.. Enjoy the bass
 4. Will recently bought my Squier VMJ5 from me and was a real pleasure to deal with from start to finish. As well as paying really promptly, his patience whilst I had the neck re-dressed before sending it to him, was just amazing! Highly recommended. Thanks again Will... hope you enjoy the bass Nik
 5.
That looks superb matey!
+1 Quite a stunner, to those of us who like basses with a black finish as I do! Matching headstock's a nice feature too.. GLWTS
 6.
PS, I did offer to do a practicalities of DB gear and gigging workshop on previous page (copied below) but - bar Jazzneck - have had no response to this. Its fine if there's no interest but please let me know either way
Thanks Clarky - that's absolutely brilliant! Will PM you to arrange.. Nik
 7. This is looking good really folks! We need to try and get a bit further with:

Workshops
Jam Room
Raffle Thread
Are there any more thoughts on Workshops?? Nik
 8.
That's a really lovely rig you have there. Good luck with the sale.
+1
 9. Enjoyed the recording WoT and from what little I can tell via my laptop with some headphones, the bass sound is very nice.. Cool, laid-back groove too!
 10.
Cant believe since last year I still only have the same two basses in my posession...
That's just unbelievable !!!
 11. Some really nice gear on the list! Is anyone interested in having any particular workshops, a 'For Sale' area perhaps, or anything else in particular?
 12. It just staggers me that this hasn't sold yet! I was interested initially but unfortunately, needing to put funds into a lightweight rig has meant I couldn't go for this... But seriously, a 5 string Lakland bass with Nordstrand pick ups for only £500 is just madness!!!
 13. Thanks for keeping the list up to date bluejay It's looking good!
 14.
I'm in. Veillette Archtop fretless 5, Sandberg VT5 and BSX Allegro 5 if anyone's interested?
Definitely
 15. Strange how things pan out; all of a sudden, I've had 3 offers on this after it being very quiet?? Anyway, I'm pleased to say that it has now been SOLD, but thanks for all the interest folks, Nik
 16.
Will be great to meet you in person, Simon, and Timmo, and any other bash newbies who can attend! It's going to be great fun and eminently gas-inducing
+1 and that's very true!! So - who is doing the Languages Masterclass then, whilst also playing a Victor Wooten solo or two?
 17.
Just had a quick chat with Matamp, if I can gome down (in my Mate's van) I'll swing by the factory and grab a load of the demo stock for people to try if you guys want, they've got quite a few prototype cabs lying around and maybe just maybe I can sneak the proto hybrid out of there (no promises though)
Brilliant
 18.
And can I suggest a workshop - no idea of it is a good idea but can someone explain how the actual Flip a multi-effect pedal can be programmed? I just got a one of those Zoom MS-608s and am clueless.
Sounds like a plan - anyone up for taking this on??
 19.
I'm trying to get out of a prior engagement to attend. Not sure anyone will be that interested in my gear though.
Everyone's very friendly and welcoming at events like these and that's the same for new players, very experienced players, people with loads of gear, people with hardly any gear, etc, etc.. Come along - you'll really enjoy it!
 20.
Sure fire way to kill or cure my GAS for a Marathon. Brilliant stuff.
+1

Fantastic - it'll be really good to see you there...
 23.
'Remained' is probably more accurate
