6. Nor me; but have another bump on me anyway... Such a classy looking bass, this one! Definitely makes me nostalgic for mine everytime I look at this thread.
+1 A lot of thought and effort's gone into making this bass something a little unique - you really might miss it if it goes! But good luck with it, either way..

 12.
I had one of these many moons ago, really great cabs
I remember hearing this cab and the Tech combo that Simon had with it, at the first SE Bass Bash in Guildford in 2007.. It sounded really good... Even more amazing though, was when lots of us there lifted it up to discover just how light it actually is! GLWTS

 14. Just bought some strings from Alain; echoing all the words of praise above, he's a great person to deal with and the strings are just what I was looking for... Highly recommended and a trusted Basschatter! Thanks Alain

 22.
How's this going to differ from the usual format? We'll plug this at the Herts Bash too and hope that we can raise the numbers too...
Thanks Mick!
It'll be a much smaller affair. It's a little country village hall that you could probably fit into the main hall at the SE Bash a couple of times over Just wondering Nik, will the cricket season be over by then or might it be out as a venue ... and will be getting a visit from Grouty's boys up the road if we make too much noise!?
You're absolutely right Al - it's a much smaller venue than the one we use for the South East Bash, so there just isn't the space to have talks, workshops, jam rooms and other stuff happening simultaneously.. This is going to be a very Old Skool bash! Being a bit of a Luddite, I have no idea about the cricket season at all, but I do know that there's nothing else happening there on this particular day because I asked for a date when the venue is completely free, so we could make loads of noise and not disturb anyone. Er.... Who, what, where are 'Groutys Boys up the road'?? Sounds a bit scary!!
 23.
Biggest and best gigging weekend of the year so it is a no from me. The summer is pretty much out as well anyway.... Good luck with it.
Thanks!
I've got gigs pencilled in for both Friday 29th and Saturday 30th in West London, so I'm going to hold off putting my name on the list. If one or both of those gigs fail to materialise then I'll be there.
It'd be great to see you Jack, but obviously, gigs must come first!!
