  1. If you don't mind me asking, how did you find the upgrade of the pickups to the stock sound?
  2. Plus 1 for attendance. Macclesfield based.
  3. Oof. Good job you're so far away from me.
  4. Do you have any recordings of it? Don't suppose you ever venture up near Manchester?

Updated last night. Global EQ was the first thing I found, very handy.

  9. Brilliant. Thanks mate!
  10. Thanks everyone. Really appreciated the support. I'm going to go for it 🤦‍♂️
  11. Hi everyone, Not sure if this is the most appropriate place for this post?? Does anyone offer a pedal board building service in or around the NW of England? I love seeing your pictures of slick little temple audio boards with all the extra frills and attachments. I've almost pulled the trigger on the kit a few times but in the cold light of day when I'm honest with myself I have to realised that there is no way I could put one together. I can barely wire a plug. Any recommendations welcome!

Have you guys played with IRs much? I've been using mine for gigs and practices. mainly just using the cloud based patches and tweaking them to my liking.
  13. For sale / trade, the most gorgeous bass I've ever owned. I wanted one for years and when I found one I snapped it up. Fast forward 4/5 years and I've played it a handful of times. To be brutally honest I struggle playing this bass whilst standing. Sitting down it's perfect for me, but I'm not that sort of player. Therefore I'm forcing myself to put this out there. I found the Hagstrom case to be the only hard case that would fit nicely. When I emailed Warwick about sourcing the case they said they would happily provide me with a big quality Warwick decal to cover free of charge to cover the brand of whatever case I bought. As you can see I didn't bother. All the paperwork is present including the purchase receipt from the original buyer. Im a firm believer that these instruments need to be played. It is an absolutely travesty that it spends so long in a case, not being used. Hence the sale. Price is fairly firm. Trades of similar value. Condition is excellent. There are a couple of little marks on the headstock. I can't decide if they are actually scratches or marks in the beeswax finish. I've tried to photo them as clear as poss. There is one decent scratch on the area near the back strap lock which was probably me. I'd rather not post this. It frightens me! Thanks for looking!
  14. Oops. Sorry mate. I haven't been very on it with replies. It isn't heavy though. Please accept my apologies. I will rectify asap.

Hey guys. I've had my QC for about 2 months now. Upgraded from a helix LT. It's an incredible piece of kit but I haven't really even scratched the surface of it's capabilities. I've been going straight from this unit to FOH and it sounds incredible. For the first time I'm getting strangers at gigs complementing me on my sound. The only slight niggle I've got is powering up the sound to live volumes. Through a pair of studio monitors or headphones it's incredible. Pumping up the sound on stage I've found the sound gets a little flat, like it needs a valve warmth or something (this is me being RIDICULOUSLY picky!) On some of the guitar forums our six string brothers have been running the QC through a stage power amp pedal (Seymour Duncan Powerstage seems to be the unit of choice) and then using a 'normal' guitar cab, rather than a powered speaker. Just wondered if anyone had tried this. I've asked this question on a few sites now and no one seems to have tried this on bass. I've just bought an acoustic image double shot from a fellow bass-chatter and I've got a Phil Jones cab so I'm going to experiment. If I reach any eureka moments, I'll come back and share!
  18. Hi everyone. Just wondered if anyone is using one of these incredible things? I'm currently running this through a QSC k10.2. just wondered if anyone had used a Seymour Duncan Powerstage to power a 'normal' unpowered PA speaker or bass cab?
