Another good one is " I want what I paid for it" Why? it's six months older and had had one more owner lol! just accept depreciation
In some circumstances if I picked some up at well below the market value, I would try and get what I spent on it back as opposed to flogging it on for a profit.
 2. I had a Boss Me50B that I thought was very good...
 3.
INteresting. Mine has a hole for the endpin already built into the material.
Mine has one as well unfortunately.
 4.
I got one on ebay a couple of weeks ago for £33 (bid not buy now) There was one on there for 99p but it had days to go.
That's really cheap I lost the rubber foot from my endpin and it poked through the material in the bag, now my zip is a bit goosed it's infuriating, you can't exactly get a needle and thread out and mend it!
 5. Unfortunately they are quite pricey, I have a Gewa I picked up second hand for 70, maybe a local violin store might have something?
 6. Time for the iPlayer!

 8. Put a £70 quid set of strings on it, but the rubber foot on the stand has seen better days anybody interested I'll post some pics. This is going to the bay soon! SOLD Cheers Stevie
9. Looking good man
 10. That stentor looks very like one of the ones I have which is great, I've also got a Stagg which is awful bulky.
 11.
What's the bass response on those little EA cabs btw? I'm assuming it's a Wizzy?
They are CXL 112s one is the L and the prospective new addition is the E
CxL 112L - The CxL 112L, like all Euphonic Audio amps, boasts remarkably flat frequency response. But this can also crank if you need it to, with a power rating of 350 watts and 130db sound pressure level. It also goes lower than any other EA speaker.
12.
The speakers in the EA cabs will be good quality, sensitive units. Should be no problems, you shouldn't need to push the amp as hard to get the required volume as you would with inferior units No doubt someone more clued up will add something but i tend to think of it this way - quality and efficiency of cab/driver is more important than the numbers on the back!
Cool that's great just what I wanted to hear!
 13.
It will certainly send its full power to them (well, half of it to each cab - so 275 watts each). But it depends what you mean by "drive" them? There should be plenty of volume....
Cheers for the reply, I might be wrong here, but is it the consensus that it's better to have a more powerful amp than the speakers? I'm quite happy to get 275 out of each cab on the few occasions I might use 2 cabs but was worried that the more powerful cabs might adversely affect the amps performance if that's not the case great stuff.
 14. Hi Folks I recently purchased an amp 550 watt into 4ohms or 350 into 8 ohms, I got my hands on a compact EA 1x12 350 8ohm cab to go with the amp. However, I'd like to get the full 550 out of the amp, I now have the chance of buying an identical cab which would allow full power from the amp at 4 ohms (I think). My questions is will the amp have enough power to drive the two EA 350 cabs or not? Cheers Stevie
 15. Hi can you just get a day ticket? I fancy it but don't reckon I could do the overnight.
 16.
Thnaks - I may have succumbed at GAK by then
Lol
 17. Lol to be honest I got it as a complete bargain and wouldn't really be looking for that much but it's the shipping too much hassle!
 18.
OK, no problem. I just tried one in GAK (in cream covering not black) - sounded good for the size.
Yeah they are great but I just got an Iamp doubler so if I can get a small cab for that then it'll be surplus... I'll give you a shout if I decide to sell it.
 19. Hey Steven This is what I bought for the LG A Flite Cabinet it’s a light (50 lb) stereo 4x10. It was built by Kurt Meyer at Flite for a US customer who wanted two 2x10s put into a single 4x10 sized cabinet and still have it be superlight. http://www.flitecabs.com/ The specs are as follows: - each side is a 3-way 2x10 cab; they are built together to make it a 4x10 (a la old Ampeg SVT cabs). - Rated at 300 watts RMS @ 4 ohms/side - 600 watts total - Each side has two 10” woofers, a 5" mid, and a tweeter - Speakers are Eminence. - Each side has attenuators for the mids and highs - Each side has two Speakon connectors and a 1/4" input connector - The previous owner said the efficiency rating was 99db @ 1watt/meter. - comes with a custom non-padded cover - 26” high x 28” wide x 14.75” deep - Weight 50 lbs You just take separate outs from the LG into each side of the cab it works perfectly, my issue was how light can a 4x10 be and the answer is not very! Cheers Stevie
 20. The gator tote bag has arrived it had been overlooked by the postie!
 21.
Stevie, is the Phil Jones trade only or might you be interested in a straight sale?
Hi Dave I kind of like it and at the moment it would certainly cover really small gigs so I think I'll probably wait and see first.
How about a trade for my Genz Benz 2 x 10 cab... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83516
That's a great cab but I'm kind of looking for a compact 1x10 or 1x12 just a wee bit on the big side.
 22. LG SOLD PENDING THE USUAL
 23. Also it would be a good thing if the pedal board you had spent ages deciding on hadn't got lost in the post.....
 24. When changing from a multi FX unit to individual pedals, I find it good practice to put your daisy chain and all those wee connective leads, you spent all week waiting to arrive, in the fancy laptop bag purchased for that purpose and not leave them in the rehearsal studio to disappear into the great abyss
