  1. For sale Ashdown 610 4 ohms 900 watts. Good condition. Kick back casters and dust cover included. Bit of peel on the bottom and stuff. Sounds . . Epic! Don't see many of the ABM versions about but haooy to discuss anything. Based in Mansfield, due to size and weight, posting is not an option, haooy to go for a drive about!
  2. Sansamp at the end, it just makes everything sound better.
  3. I like my trousers thoroughly flapped. I guess it all comes down to personal choice, I love the feel of the power behind me, I play hard rock, and my bass is quite prominent, I play better and feel better when I can feel/hear myself well with my amp and cab. For me, I'm happy with that and that's from pub gigs to larger gigs / academies etc. Give me a stack of 10's!
  4. I've got a BF Four10 and a two10S for modular needs, always fancied a Super Twin, I don't know why I am drawn to it. Just picked up a bargain Ashdown ABM 610 too! Still the Super Twin calls! @Muppet If your need for a two10s calls give me a shout
  5. Woo vertical 4 x 10, the way up is the way forward! I'd do this but my head (ABM 600) is too wide for the layout haha.
  6. My new band I formed over lockdown have just released our debut album! Have listen here. www.syncolima.bandcamp.com First DIY video https://youtu.be/jM59QuOIM-A
  7. Ashdown ABM 600 Head, Barefaced 410 cab (plus a bf 210s just in case!). Although I've just snapped up an Ashdown ABM 610 cab to play with!
  8. Can also confirm, it's very useable if that's what you're after.
  9. I've got one of these. really good but I find I don't use the variable, wouldn't mind a Thumpinator back tbf https://schalltechnik04.de/en/instructions/mini-hp-vong
  10. I love it, I wish it was in stock prior to me purchasing the black one, no regrets though, killer bass
  11. Can confirm it is glorious especially with some DR Black Beauties
  12. Absolutely true, not on this occasion. Unfortunately, in my ignorance, which I should have known it was down to being underpowered, few changes in the power supply and it's good. I hang my head in shame, ahh well
  13. Yep, tried with my passive bass and it's fine, would have thought a bass specific pedal would account for this. Oh well. Edit! Ignore me it's been a long week. Pedal works fine and sounds great! 😭😂😂😂
  14. Yeah, tried that, doesn't really attenuate the signal that much tbf, I'll have to try it with my passive bass to see if it is a hot output causing the issue

    NPD - issue

NPD - EHX Bass Clone, Fancied using a bit of chorus, so purchased this one, after a good read up. Arrived yesterday, stuck on my board and off to practice last night. I use a Warwick Thumb BO with Active MEC pickups, It farts out, is there only way I can describe it, I guess it doesn't like active passes, the only way I can get it to sound "normal" is by turning down the volume of my bass quite significantly, which defeats the object really. Any one else experienced this? Or any ideas how to resolve
  16. Thinking back I've pretty much always had a sansamp pedal in one form as far back as I can remember. Programmable BDDI BDDI Deluxe VT Deluxe Fly Rig SH-1 For the past 2/3 years now I've had the BDDI v2 and probably won't ever not use it, unless they make a v3 with something new?! Anyway. My setting. VOL - 9 o clock, Gain around 10/11 for a slight warmth (tally with vol for unity gain.) Blend on Full, Treble at 3 o clock, presence 1 / 2 o clock Mids (500) at 3, bass (80) at around 1 / 2. Last in the chain, just makes everything sound alive.

  20. Stepped in for a band over lockdown, unfortunately time for me to move on. They need a permanent bassist - Chesterfield, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Just released a new single with air play on Planet Rock. https://www.facebook.com/StandAmongstGiants Contact / WhatsApp Ben - 07401 097960

  21. When used as a pedal does it hiss, or is it fine on the usual in and outs?
  22. Yeah, must be voiced differently, the pedal is awesome but bit large for me just to use it for the valve section alone 🙂
  23. A good review here sir. https://www.compressorpedalreviews.com/post/ampeg-opto-comp
  24. I have the drive on around a quarter just to warm the tone up, I love it. I would love if @Ashdown Engineeringdid a standalone valve drive stomp box that I could have on a bigger breakup setting. Man I wish I never got rid of my DHA pedal
  25. Love mine for home jamming / recording as an interface, Just cant get it to work for me live. First foray into Digi multi fx and it is so easy to set up. Fantastic piece of kit though, I wouldn't get rid. I'm just a victim of my own "too many parameters" fear / endless tweaking. I've since gone back to separates for my main gig rig.
