    To link in with the other thread too, I have a focus estate, it's perfection. 3 piece band, Singer/Guitar, Me, Drums Most gigs - heads and breakables, I can get all 3 of us in with what need plus merch box. In terms of what I take: Bass Head Pedal board Strap 2 x jack leads (no spares on me oops) 3 x speak-on cable (in case there's two cabs plus a spare) Kettle lead Extension lead if no power out front for the pedal board. Face towel! very important! Spare set a strings, 9v battery. I did used to have a large bag with 2 x everything in there, but never (touch wood) gone through jacks / power cables or speaker cables.

    Thanks Both, I do have a HPF at the front, Mini vong, sweepable, helps with the room boom. yep seeing what works in and out each loop, one thing to be wary of if anyone goes down the KMA route, polarity reversals, got 4 pedals in the top loops, 3 reverse polarity when engaged, had to make some amendments . . At the moment I have the frequencies split nicely to provide suitable low end umph and top end for the gain pedals. Currently have my old trusty EHX bass preacher fattening up the low end, I am wondering if a small eq pedal will assist. Anyway it's all trial and error, gigged it at the weekend, seemed ok, will keep testing the waters

    Hi all. I've been very trigger happy with pedals lately and recently taken in a KMA Tyler Deluxe. Just waiting on a new pedal board to arrive but did some tests at the weekend and can confirm, it is awesome. So, hive mind, All my dirt pedals will be going via the HPF loop, leaving the clean low end in the LPF loop. Aside from a compressor, (which I have on the way) what is the best way to tighten up / boost that clean low end. The Kma, has sweepable frequencies for both to find the sweet spot for the splits, a Mix between the two, over all level and over all clean blend, but stick a knarly fuzz on and it sings, but I really want the low end to chunk up underneath. Think a compressor will handle that ok? (MXR Dynacomp fyi) or that alongside maybe the EHX mole or maybe a eq pedal with a few dB's of gain on the low end. I plan on leaving the KMA on all the time and individually turning off the various dirt's in the HPF chain. Just brainstorming by the way. 🙂

    The Hotone Omni, has a di out as well as a Thru which I assume is an unaffected signal so you can go uncoloured to your amp etc

    My Barefaced 4 x 10 can handle pretty much any gig, I also have the 2 x 10 to modulate appropriately. Punchy? yes!!, but what goes in helps too. Lots of middddsss!!!!! 🙂

    Sorry forgot to add there is a tuber on there haha, Have a boss ls-2, had many options going through it, space is at a premium so an ls2 and 2 more pedals won't fit currently

    Current Fuzz is the Latent Lemon Brassmaster, So has the sneaky upper octave, didn't react well to a nano pog before it, but sounds mint on it's own, I was interested in the MXR sub octave fuzz thing, ended up getting the Okta Nojs but that did not like my bass. MXR sub is still on the cards potentially

    I have the bass preacher near the starts to even things out. As for cant do without pedals, the HPF/Comp/Sansamp in that order just is my clean tone, combined with the EQ on my Ashdown head. Thats perfect for me though, that doesn't need to change. Maybe more Modulation or a subby fuzz, I dunno someone needs to invent a whole new affect? Whale noises maybe haha

    Hello fine bass chatters. I wonder if anyone else suffers from the great unscratchable itch. My pedal board is 99% perfection for my needs, after years of farting about buying and selling bits and bobs, combined with my bass, amp and cab I have my perfect clean tone. I also have an awesome fuzz, perfect overdrive. Problem is I have a 4 way switcher and 1 slot left to fill, and no matter what I just can't find anything. Do I need another fuzz? naah, overdrive nah? aside from varying gain stages, what other useable effects are there for bass. Set up as it stands Bass into: Variable HPF EHX Bass Preacher Gigrig 4 way switcher to: 1 - **Empty** 2 - Chorus 3 - Overdrive 4 - Fuzz Geezer wah Sansamp. To amp. I play rock, grungey bass driven stoner stuff, so I have ample room to stand out and not just sit at the back. Tried various Octavers, I wouldn't get much use out of it, Filters/synth - again not my bag. Just sold a load of excess pedals I don't need as for the first time in years i'm happy with what I currently have, aside from a slot open to do something. What is out there!

    Still here, willing to trade for something Jazzy (not fender) Warwick etc. hell wouldn't mind trying out a 4 string fanned fret thing too, I'm just not a P pickup kinda guy. . . Other than that, money for my 2 year postponed holiday would be nice too! Oh I also have this in an old Rockbag soft bag too, so it's not all exposed, which potential new owner is welcome to have along with it.

    I got my ABM 600 2nd hand from here like 3 years ago now, like 6 months into me having it i had to change the tube once. It's been awesome since.

    For Sale Emma Electronics Okto Nojs Sub Octave, Synthy fuzz, both! cool pedal, just not feeling it myself. few weeks old, Velcro'd on my board, not gigged. Got the box etc. £130 posted. Trades for anything interesting, envelope/synthy/weird. At work so actual pics to follow, but condition is as new with velcro on bottom
