1. Just bought a TE V4 from Chris and found him to be straightforward to deal with and communicative. Nice one, thanks mate! Grahame
2.
This looked like quite an interesting thread but unfortunately you're on my ignore list so i can't see it
These 120's are great amps - I'll be following this with interest, thanks for putting it up Mr F.
3. Sorry, should have made it more obvious. It's a Stagg.
4. My first fretless which got me hooked on the idea of not having any bumps or lines on the neck. So if you fancy dipping your toes into the world of fretless but worried about losing big time financially if it doesn't work out, give this a gander - I've put a nice fresh set of Black Diamonds on it (my preference for fretless and they represent half the value of this bass!!), also set it up to get it sounding half decent. One of the pots is a bit wonkey but doesn't affect anything. Yours for £50 and I'll do next day courier for another tenner. Waddya say people? Cheers Grahame
5. I have to say Liam, this baby sounding sooooooo good when you were trying it down at my place I'm almost tempted to have it back off you.......
6. These are cracking preamps and there're not many floating around - I'm amazed one turned up for sale so soon after mine. If you want a simple to use pre' with great tone, buy this and buy it now.
7. C'mon people, you really need one of these. Great price too! I built a pair of these for my son and they sound just fantastic! Have you got a weight for yours Stuart? Cheers Grahame
8. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! Don't do it!! Seriously though, this is a great, great example of a classic head and Liam's a smashing guy to deal with.
9. Tell me about it! Cost me over £800 to put together.... Thanks for the 'Good luck with the sale'.

11. What about an Ampeg B25? Two 7027's putting out 55-60W. The inputs can be bridged for an even fatter tone. Mind you, I think it's 24" wide..... IMO, sounds fabulous when cranked and not too loud.
12. Just met John and did the deal for my Korg tuner. Really pleasant guy and wouldn't hesitate to buy or sell to him again. Thanks John! Grahame
13. Gavin bought my Read Purity preamp and what a splendid chap to deal with too! Many thanks Gavin and hope you enjoy the Read. Cheers Grahame
14. And sold Ladies and Gentlemen! Now on it's way to sunny Edinburgh.
15.
£230 with the rack too?! I'd rip Wil's arm off Ross!
Absolutely! One killer rig in the making!
16. Please buy my Korg DTR-2000. As new condition bar some light rack rash and comes with original box (however I can’t for the life of me get all the packaging back in the way it should be…). Looking for £120 including delivery. Thanks Grahame
17. Ha! Thanks Craig! How's your rig going? There could well be more preamps coming up for sale yet..... I've tried loads of different pre's finally settling with a DB680 and something else that's very special so the others need to go. Go well Grahame
18. Hi Marc, The overall depth of the Read is 30cm from the tips of the knobs (!) to the furthest point back which is the valve covers. From the back of the 'rack ears' to the furthest point back measures 28cm. Thanks Grahame
19. Ok people, up for grabs is my Read Purity valve preamp. Excellent condition and has been checked over by Panic music to ensure there are no issues. A neat feature is the ability to swap the valves without having to open it up. A couple of brief reviews here – http://www.talkbass.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/511 I’m after £500 which includes delivery by UPS to an address of your choice within the UK mainland. Thanks to John for letting me use his photo’s. Cheers Grahame
