1. Just bought a hard case from Andy and it turned out to be a straightforward and all round top deal! Many thanks Andy! Cheers Grahame
2. Thanks Chris! Yes Andy's a smashing guy to know and really takes pride in what he does.
3. Another fifty quid off type bump! (if it doesn't go for £300, I'm cutting it up for firewood this winter...).
4.
Pentode, try clearing the browser cache on your phone.
Well bless my bearings!! It works! Many thanks for that.
5. Like Mr 257, my avatar of a line of power valves was replaced by my profile photo (and who wants that gormless, smug twat staring back at you all the time...?). Eventually I managed to change the photo back by persisting but strangely, my profile photo is still my avatar when using my iphone..... Wassat all about then?
6. Good point! Here's a photo of the marks on the board at around A on the E string - You can see the marking opposite my thumbnail. The dark marks a bit further up the neck would appear to be grease from my fingers whilst trying to find the scratches - yurrgh sorry! Hope this is ok.
7. I quite like the fact that he took the trouble to 'chat' with me via a few emails regarding fretless basses and playing. His playing's not bad either!
8. No advice I'm afraid but have a great time and good luck! Let us know how you get on.
9. Gotta love Bach the way this guy does it -
10. Oh yes - Quilt Maple.... If you really want to learn to play fretless it's worth persevering for a bit - it's not that difficult to get going although accurate intonation can take a while and a fair bit of practice.
11.
Backside has been sanded lightly for smoother feel.
Tried that with my first wife..... Nice body BTW - (The Precision not my ex!).
12. The Dean fretless 5's have a 16mm spacing Bill Lewington's the importer. Retails at £450 but if you look around you should get it cheaper. I've got one like the above and it does sound lovely.
13. That's a great photo of the back of the amp showing those massive transformers! Good luck with the sale Sir.
14. Hi Brian, No problem - The colour isn't accurate in this picture - it's more like the photos at the top. Cheers Grahame
15. Remember folks, these are nearly £950 new!!!
16. Lefty playing right.
17. Nice cab though this is, it's come to my attention that this photo's been used without the permission of Thumper who originally built the cab and photographed it.... Would've been polite to have asked or at least credited Thumper for taking the shot do you not think? BTW, it weighs around 46lbs.

19. Hi Joe, Did you get my PM last night? As I said, I'll take this. Cheers Grahame
20. Rob Dix of RD Amplification. Admittedly not exclusively bass amps but very much worthy of a mention.
21. Just traded for Glyns' Crest power amp. Had a couple of good chats and found Glyn to be an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nice one! Thanks Glyn! Grahame
