  1. Damn I really like the look of this Datum! Seems really well made - helluva lot of bass for the money
  2. Stunning bass and incredible playing. This shouldn't last long! GLWTS
  3. Not a bargain or just no love for these?
  4. im not saying its great but it may be that part of that is due to the relic look it's been given - see the bridge...

you may find the lemon oil is absorbed quickly into the fretboard - this eems to be the case with my Wenge fretboards. If this happens just keep reapplying until it isnt absorbed so quickly and then just wipe off any excess with a piece of kitchen roll.
  7. This is really good advice and will help your sale!
  8. I welcome your new word and looking at the picture you posted, would also propose craftsmanshit be added to the list
  9. Awesome! Really practical for that situation where... Umm... You know.. Hang on... It'll come to me... ... Oh wait, no I've just remembered it's fecking useless
  10. I actually quite like the look of it. No accounting for taste though...
  11. Thanks mate, yeah may have to cast my net a bit further...
  12. Seems stupidly cheap for such a high quality package. Not just Status pups but Status pre too IIRC... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323256636907
  13. Welcome to the party James
  14. Wow! Bargain! Had one of these and the 4 string version. Really high quality Japanese made instruments!
  15. Nice work on the hardware change. My OCD wouldnt allow this though as I would have to change the tedur JAN III for a brass one as they sound a lot better IME. One thing to check though - your intonation. Ive setup a dozen or so different warwicks and never ended up with saddles that close to the tail piece (ie the E and B saddles)
  16. Surprised at the lack of interest so far. These may not be the best looking basses but in terms of sound, versatility and comfort they are in a league of their own. Im just not getting on with the string spacing compared to my broadneck Streamer.
  17. tis a shame really as I would like to buy this bass but im really only interest in a seller who at least works part-time. oh well, my search continues...
  18. What a stunning instrument. GLWTS
  19. Lovely! the pointy parts will come in handy for the removal of stage invaders and generally annoying punters
  20. beautiful! being a custom built instrument you would probably help your sale a lot with some soundclips. detailing the scale length, string spacing and weight will also help. I would also think twice about listing your phone number and email on an open forum as they may be abused by spammers... GLWTS
  21. No definitely not chambered. Just find it a real stretch for that 14lbs as mine is a large 5 string body and neck with the 20mm spacing and all the solid brass hardware etc.
