Mine... I hope this helps. It looks like the shielding on your white core wire needs to be exposed a bit more. That'll be your third wire. @Andyjr1515 replaced the jack socket for me some time back. I didn't want to put a strain on the preamp harness and end up like you seem to have but the order of the wire colours is just visible.

The bass in the vid is the Hohner B2A. I have one. It's active. I also have a five string Steinberger Spirit. It's passive. The Hohner is a much better quality instrument. Mine is strung with piano wound (exposed core at the saddles) rounds. It zings. A proper slap monster.

They look okay. The only improvement I'd make to that might be to use flush fitting bolts complete with ferrules similar to neck bolts but with machine threads. You'd need ferrules with a 90 degree countersink to match the bolts. It looks like it could be made to work from the light skim reading I did with the help of a pair of gogo ducks.
