  12. That is stunning! Fantastic work from Andy, he's a master! [quote name='TheGreek' timestamp='1479140931' post='3174264'] Since Andy has now done a number of basses for fellow BCers I thought I'd start thread dedicated to his work. Here's details of the Silk Bass which he brought back to life for me. Details of the thread included. 13. Fender flats are superb. I've got the 9050m on all my basses.
  14. The "you have to sell some Basses" clearout via the Mrs continues. Here is my great Precision Bista for sale. Here is my Precision Bitsa. Body, electronics, machine heads and bridge all from here on Basschat. The neck was a generic P Bass neck off eBay with an added water slide decal. I have a pair of Entwistle PBXN pickups with replacement white covers. The bridge is a Hipshot "A" Sounds great, plays great and looks great! Slight buzz on one position (13th fret on G String) but apart from that it's perfectly set up with a low action and fast neck. Local pickup from DARTFORD in Kent please or I can meet in Charing Cross or Cannon Street area of London on weekdays.
  15. The pickups of my Jazz Limelight are the best I've ever owned. They sound superb!
  16. I've just ordered at BT2 for my Limelight Precision and I had it narrowed down to those choice too. The reason I went for the BT2 was that it had the same size/shape mounting plate as I've got at the moment. The BT7 was a different shape. Hope that helps?
  17. I love my Limelights, here is a picture of them together! Limelight 00161 is built as a 1960's Pre CBS Fender spec Precision Bass apart from two obvious things. It has a MM passive pickup and a left handed Jazz neck but set up to play as a right handed instrument. Limelight 00190 is built as a 1970's spec Fender Jazz Bass with the addition of a Hipshot Xtender. Both are strung with Fender 9050 flatwounds and play like a dream!
