Great guy to deal with. When in doubt and no bass to go, consider Al Krow!

The Future Impact 1 is a remake of Akai's sought after Deep Impact from the eighties. In fact it is more than that with much more editing possibilities, more memory's, faster processor etc. Check following site for more info: http://pandamidi.com/bass-guitar-synth The FI1 I am offering is in like new condition including the original box.

*SOLD* Riverhead product of Headway RSB-900 'Steinberger'.
will4bass replied to will4bass's topic in Basses For Sale
Frankly I don't know for sure butI think so. The screw is there for a reason. Nothing seems to be broken but I don't have a 'pivot plate'. For me the bass is hanging alright when strapped on. There is a 'flap' under the bass that you can flip over so you can play it sitting down without a guitar strap. -
Any Riverhead fans out here? They built some nice quality basses and guitars in the 80's. This is a quite rare RSB-900 from that golden Japanese era. A time when copies from the rising sun were as good or better than the U.S.A. originals. This take on a Steinberger-copy needs no double ball end strings. This is not just for some bass peddling in the holidays. It is a 'serious bass' really. It has a beautiful piece of rosewood on the fretboard, alder body, maple neck, 33,5", 18 mm string spacing, 4 cm width at the nut and most importantly: it plays and sounds very well. With the Volume-Volume-Tone knobs this passive bass is quite versatile. IMHO the build quality is better than the old and new Hohners (the truss rod is actually working on this one). Compared with 'real' graphite composite Steinbergers this Riverhead is much lighter and 'down under' more organic sounding (whatever that means) than Steinbergers. No Steinberger bashing.. I like them too.. but differently..

This Jaco Custom Shop bass was bought new in 2008 when visiting New York. It never got used after all so I am selling it. It might be a bit awkward to say about a relic bass but it is like new really. The bass hasn't been out of the case (OHSC) since 2008 and it still smells like a new one. You know that smell: better than any after shave or perfume! 😉 The bass played perfect right away after so many years in the case. I exchanged the original roundwound strings with Thomastik flatwounds (I did keep the original strings that are still like new too) and did some personal tweaking with string and pick up height. Due to the lower tension of the Thomastiks I also adjusted the trussrod a bit so I can say it works perfectly fine. Somehow this CS Jaco feels and plays like a bass that I have been playing for many years. However, I'm not a Jaco or even a fretless player really... so.... I really enjoyed having this bass in my hands a short bit...I made these pics and put it back in the case for it to comfortably wait for the right person to give it the right overdose of playing & caring. Is it you?
