  1. Selling this fantastic clean and 100% original '72. maple board bass. Early '70 Fender basses are the lightest in this decennium and so is this one: approx. 3700 grams on my kitchenscale. A-neck(!), original ashtrays and thumbrest and OHSC. Frets, truss rod, electronics wtc. Everything is perfect. Plays like butter sounds fenomenal. Have to kill darlings and hardly play four strings so this one has got to go.
  2. Celebrating our 75th liberation day with a special discounted price. It’s now or.... ever?
  3. Upupup... this one’s gotta go out of love
  4. Mainly used at home. Great condition. Technically 100%. 8 ohm version with carpet clothing. Great cabs. For me the perfect synthesis between the fidelity of Glockenklang and the smoothness of Vanderkley. Check the reviews online. I also have a GR212 for sale (£550). I only need one cab so one or another has to go!
  5. A bit dusty hence used too little so.. offering it for sale now! Working 100% no cracks or grumbles. Check the reviews online. This stompbox is considered one of the best envelope filters for analogue processing: bass-guitar not the least.
  6. One of the most desired stompboxes for bass ever... still does that oomph -thing that others don't...used, ofcourse, but fully functional.
  7. Selling that one too... 😞
  8. omg.. it's too late I guess... thanks Andy... I will change the pics!
  9. Up for sale is this great Sadowsky Metro Maple Vintage 4 string from 2009. Presently the bass is loaded with Nordstrands but I also have the original humcanceling Sadowsky pickups. It has a lightweight (the bass weighs approx. 3800 grams) swamp ash body with a nice grain pattern, maple neck, luminlay dots, 59 burst gloss finish body and satin matte nitro neck finish (no refin). Some small dings and dongs, nothing dramatic and the bass is technically 100%.
  10. Considered... the perfect trade would be a Sadowsky P5 or PJ5...
  11. Up! Discount proposal! The best priced NYC around!
  12. Still sitting in its nice foudral waiting for someone to sharing good playing time with.
  13. Great bass man! Love my 1960 Olympic White P bass very much too. These oldies have something that is hard to explain. Partly it is between my ears but a larger part is in de bass really. So forgiving, so fat, so cool! Don't play it much.. but always feels like home.
  14. Was this Fodera 'born' as a fretless?
  15. I have no clips available right now. Compared with the EMG's it is a huge step forward in every aspect: I would say that even if you like the EMG sound you get it better with these SD's! Even Roger is offering this solution now in some of his NYC basses. They are expensive: €350-ish and then they need to be installed. I had it done by a professional luthier.
  16. I was told this is an early 60's pickguard... I have no means to verify this but I'm quite sure it is a real old Fender pickguard anyway... and it's beautiful.
  17. Sadowsky Modern Player 24-5 from 1996 with a Glockenklang 2 band pre amp and Seymour Duncan dual coils with a three position switch allowing to choose for inner coils, outer coils and both coils making this an extremely versatile bass. Compared with the more common jazz basses Sadowsky produces I would say this (old) Modern bass is closer to a mix of Music Man and a Precision, although, with the dual coils bright/airy J’like settings are very well possible too. The bass has been played for sure, someone during it's long history someone has put a pickguard on it (I never had it) and the bridge has been replaced with a by Roger recommended Omega bridge, but technically it is 100%. The frets have many many years of life to go. The bass comes with the original EMG pickups and Sadowsky pre-amp: do note that this amp is designed for active pickups so won't work well with passive pickups. Maybe only a small adjustment is needed for this: I don't know to be honest. I do know this is a great bass but I prefer playing more traditional jazz basses so time for this baby to find a new owner. Comes with a sturdy but non original hard case. Oh yes, the neck is maple, the fretboard is ebony and most likely the body is ash. The weight is about 3800 grams (not even chambered!). Very well balanced and action as low as you wanna go. Asking £2200 (!) with either the actual fitted SD/Glock or the original Sadowsky/EMG. With both sets asking £2400. Quite a fair deal IMHO.
  18. Watt?
  19. Hi, can you share details of both pickups? P.s. Thanks!
  20. Hi! Happen to know the wood species of the fretboard? And what pickups are in it? At that time Roger used Bartolini’s if I am well informed but these are a different breed. Your bass would a nice match with my beloved ‘94 Sadowsky!
  21. Any pic of the Pagborn you got? I’ve been looking for one for many years!
