Plays and sounds perfect. The ultimate EUB for salsa and then some. Now strung with new Thomastik Spirocores (S43) tuned to EADG. Selling since I stick to bassguitars… well at least I tried!

Squier (Fender) Precision '57 RI '82 JV Series (Japan) with original white ánd Fender anodized pick guard. Sounds and plays fantastic: no buzz, very low action. Quote "Everybody came up to inspect them and the guys almost cried, because the Japanese product was so good - it was what we were having a hell of a time trying to do." Sadowsky Metro Japan (2012) MV5 Will Lee. Alder body (I think, although ash should be standard), maple neck/board (I'm sure). Sadowsky pre amp with the Will Lee mid boost switchable narrow/wide and 500hz/800hz. 3900 grams only on a professional scale (non chambered!). Low action, no issues etc. 'Just' a perfect Sadowsky. Comes with original Sadowsky rectangular soft case. This one is from the time no graphite strips were used yet. Maybe I’m a kind of educated fool but I seem to like the sound and feel of these older ones best! Selling just because I am reducing my happy bunch of (Sadowsky) by selling the configurations I have twice or more...

What is the string spacing on this fretless piece of freedom?

The Ales Vychodil is a fantastic bass really on all aspects: looks, playability & sound. The reason I sell it is because I'm snobbish and autistic and can't deal with differently branded headstocks in one rack... 😉

Fully agree. Weight is one of those things that matter and that are easy to be precise on. That is why I bought a decent weighing scale.

Maybe it looks like it but it is not even the slightest issue at all.. in fact the neck feels fantastic.

Ales Vychodil AVPJ5 Bass (2019) with a beautiful and rare Copper metallic finish. Alder body, maple neck, bound (most probably Indian) rosewood fingerboard. Nordstrand PJ pickups, passive electronics, Hipshot bridge & lollypop tuners. 4,5kgs, good balance, comfortable to play: neck much like Sadowsky but smaller at the nut (close to Will Lee neck). Bass is in like new/demo condition! Trades considered/cash either way: a fretless jazzbass 4/5 strings considered too.

Recently I had a chance to play this bass and it is monster really. The best a jazzbass has to offer and then some. Paul is a very gentle and trustworthy person: buy or trade with confidence!

Sure. For old skool chops we recommend traditional choppills over liquid capsules: but with both good results have been achieved. All our pills are absolutely genderfree and during the process of development we only sonically disturbed some neighbours.

I know that... as explained: still prefer the Deep Impact!

I had both the first and improved version of the Future Impact… much more options but I sold them both…somehow I still prefer the Deep Impact.

It's just the distance between the strings at the bridge.. is could be somewhere between 16,5mm and 19mm. It matters a lot to many players.. like me. I'm not interested in anything below 18mm... but 18mm or more is interesting to me.
