  1. Passing through Norway on Sunday for a week if anyone that side of the world is interested. (Same is true for the Serek I guess but I think I know which is the keeper)
  2. I always think these things make excellent backup rigs
  3. It’s where I’m going to take my Serek or Pawn Shop Mustang (as soon as I decide which I’m keeping) next month. Also you have a wider selection of trades, there is a Walnut Ric I know was on here that I can likely trade either of my basses towards because Bass Bros’s will be interested whereas the BC’er might not.
  4. Was just going to post that
  5. Really interested to try one. It’s exactly the sort of thing I excitedly buy and never use 😅
  6. Honestly I think my favourite thing about this is the tuner on the side and the fact you can use it and activate it without getting your phone out.
  7. As of 2 days ago, 10 new bass amps, cabs and 2 overdrives added 🙄 I still wouldn’t pick this over a Katana Go or one of the new Zoom Stomps (depending on if you need practice or you need a live setup) But will always love the idea of a tiny portable tone brain.
  8. I imagine it’s not the OP’s auction, I’m just adding another page to the story and we all get to see a lovely sunburst 70s P
  9. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186347875698?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=I6kQUce0SWq&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=6OLDX2XvQou&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  10. I wouldn’t contemplate trying to hack into something I could use live, but for practice it’s ideal. Excited to have time again tonight to practice.
  11. Significant step up, sound quality is much better, tuner on the device and there is an octaver (2 even) Clean sound is great. Fx’s are good enough for when I practice and as above there are octavers. I won’t have to break out any of my pedals for practice now.
  12. I’m hoping it’s better than the Nux, mine has dispatched and will be with me tomorrow. Even got a bass with me to test it.
  13. Open to offers, not using this currently. Trades always of interest
  14. I couldn’t decide what to keep so I’ve listed my 3 not main basses and will let the market decide. For this crowd
  15. Since I picked up another Rickenbacker to travel with this is back up for sale. Only thing I’m after in trade is @Clarky‘s 73 Ric 4000 😅 Walnut thru and thru with their awesome B90 pickup and a dummy coil under the pickguard, push/pull on the tone know to activate it. Bought from Si Poulton earlier this year and I’ve barely had chance to play it since. This is an incredible bass, the lightest I own, the best sounding I own and the most versatile, just an absolutely stunning instrument. Currently strung with La Bella rounds, will come with a spare set of those and a set of Dunlop flats. Has the older Levy’s Serek branded case. I can add a Gruvgear Kapsule or Kapsulite if you want something more substantial (for an additional fee)
  16. PRICED AT £950 £800 without gigbag (because I don’t think anyone reads all of a post) Else price is £950 with a Gruvgear Kapsulite 2 of 3 to be listed Going to keep the 1 that is left Great condition Mexican made Fender Pawn Shop mustang, absolute monster output on it. Can be heard here: Comes with a Gruv Gear Kapsulite case, open to offers without the case to reduce the price but without it I don’t have a way to ship it comfortably Strung with d’addario chromes and a nice low action, fitted with Schaller strap locks.
  17. 1 of 3 basses that are listed and I’ll keep the last 1 to sell. Bought recently to be my travel bass (a more simplified ric) but due to the long waiting times on a Gruv Gear Kapsule I’ve reconsidered and am just thinking of continuing to travel with the either my Mustang or Serek and the Kapsule I already have that fits them (they will both be listed in the next few weeks). Rickenbacker 1973 (March) in Jet Glory. Rare model with single pick up which was first famously first used in the UK by John Entwistle in the 60’s. No frills design, fantastic player. Dual truss rods work perfectly and the action is set low. This is one punchy bass with all the Rickenbacker bass growl. The Jetglo finish is ageing well, slight crazing appearing, some marks to the body and rash to the rear. Good condition (for a 50 year old bass) with some buckle rash on the back. When I got it was missing the screws for the string mute, but on these older models these are interchangeable with the strap pins. So they’ve been moved to the bridge and I’ve added some Schaller straplocks as the strap pins. I’ve restrung it with D’addario chromes Weight from the shop listing is 8lb 7oz and it will come with a Mono Sleeve in Grey (not the non ric case shown that I decided not to take when I bought it)
  18. I cancelled my order with gear4music as I had a Gruv Gear Kapsule I’m not going to bother with now holding up the order. Re-ordered the last one on Amazon and should be here Tuesday.
  19. Good condition with the wrong side of velcro (fuzzy) stuck to the bottom. No box. I’m open to trades on other tuners that take a battery so I can just throw it on the floor, cash either way.
  20. Good condition with box, missing the top of one of the knobs but still have the battery compartment. Price is firm but includes shipping.

  21. Well I bought it so you have that proof. Sadly got lost in the post but that was my fault for not going to collect it from the sorting office in a timely fashion.
  22. Worst case just get a small male to female 1/4 patch cable and run it a bit away from the bass. https://www.amazon.co.uk/PNGKNYOCN-Extension-Amplifiers-Instruments-Microphone(55cm)/dp/B09BHH8DP7/ref=sr_1_10?crid=2LHKLGTEWV74M&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.qDCo5pMz2kG5dNhVXdHqLkUrCSw1ZZU4wFIyjJqvdfIhpwgS_PTJXIMFFcsVLSL9Fo9fmXWMphjUS4oOcdB6YMNiNUSWF0GlHAXOPSoFjXDNInA_g6hl7yYUYtX1fsN5ivzA17-o3k4URPLSIO64f3oJYAq8vm6edTlSA5mH3IIrgGA2Mc4t8CBRX8cCZWK_xBhfHuA4U1Ryt_Om6kxjMCA4GJTkGMUiFXsqVNiP1ko.NL7k5uyoxaUGw0OJ1NFhMydqBFRnSOEXd9jnNbePqeE&dib_tag=se&keywords=1%2F4inch+male+female&qid=1713900163&sprefix=1%2F4inch+male+female%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-10
  23. It’s got USB C and easier to use foot buttons, as long as it doesn’t sound worse 😅 I’m good
  24. I’m leaning the 70CDR+ just rather have the weird fx over the amp sims. But it’s all a great set of improvements over the older model (of which I have 3 😅)
