I want to say higher pot value or a resister or something. To me it’s amazing with the gain off but then to get unity the volume is near off so I’d want a bit more sweep across a smaller range. Something like that at least.

Yeah I commented on your instagram post about the Berkeley that was one of my favs. I should have kept it and had the volume pot modified. I also had the Bender and Smiley. Smiley isn’t great on bass. Supreme and Crimson were high on the list but my last fuzz binge left me only wanting fuzz’s with a blend. But I often think I need the Dirt Fixer and then I can enjoy them all. I’ve been pretty satisfied with the Kasleder custom Freaky Stone just feeling like it would be unbeatable with a blend. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/new-fuzz-inbound-custom-kasleder-fx-freaky-stone.1661569/

Did any of the legends of fuzz impress you? I assume some specific videos/reviews are coming on them?

Disappointed no one has the Hello Kitty Fuzz yet 🙄

It’s a Kapsule, I picked mine up in the US. I got my Kapsulite in Bogota, Colombia. Both travel really well. The red lined case is a Gator Bass Case so way too much space for a mustang. I just sold both the Kapsule and Kapsulite to https://ampguitars.com yesterday because I’m moving away from shortscales. So you could get in touch and see if there is a deal to be had.

My Serek and Pawn Shop Mustang are now with Bass Bros as I move back to exclusively playing Rickenbackers (and 1 hofner 😬😇) -

Best of luck getting the audience to kneel at your crotch. especially when from another angle it looks like this
-
Sadly I traded it about a year ago when I was in Houston, Texas so it’s fairly inaccessible and hard to track down now I’m afraid.
-
I appreciate you proving my point. 😇

I will add it’s quite easy to look good onstage with a double bass and near impossible with an EUB.

You just need a well fitting suit 💁🏼♀️ something to patch over the cracks 😇

An absolutely mental pedal, main thing to note: Phase distortion guitar synth, 3 Oscillators + 1 Sub-oscillator the Sub oscillator being the important one there, huge synthy lows available. Got this as I just hate menus and apps when trying to relax and make noise. Surprisingly easy to use when you understand how, I’ve set it to bass mode (holding down a switch or button when you turn it on). It’s got deep subby lows and a million other settings. Check the site for all the wave forms and settings https://subdecay.com/effect/pixelwave Selling because my other pedals have sold so quick and maybe I’m on a roll. I’ve also bought SO much gear recently and this doesn’t get used. No box, no manual (I think it’s in a drawer in Istanbul) but you have to watch the video guides anyway to understand how everything works on everything anyway. The presets are great but it does have quite a steep learning curve once you get started editing it. But that editing…. all done on the pedal, no menu’s, no apps, no cables to your phone etc etc.

Has to be the best muff I’ve owned. This Civil War clone features a custom green paint job, mid switch and a clean blend (on the side) https://www.wrenandcuff.com/products/small-foot-box-of-war I have a new fuzz inbound (hopefully later today unless DHL are lying again) and I’m just a lower gain sort of guy. Open to trades but the price is firm, these are very hard to come by this side of the pond. Comes with the box, all paperwork, the plectrums. Velcro on the bottom.

Paying homage to the sacred bass rig embodied by Al Cisneros in the early days of OM, GIZA is a JFET emulation of a modified Green Matamp GT120 preamp combined with the hypnotic pairing of DOD 250 Overdrive and Boss DS-1 Distortion. https://doesitdoom.com/product/giza/ This thing is a monster, but I’ve had my fun, I’ve played Dragonaut with my 2 Rics and the reality is I’m never going to use this outside of my own self indulgence. Made in limited batches, has all the paperwork, plectrum, stickers and fabric patch. Doesn’t include the box but it was a plain white affair anyway. Open to trades but the price is firm, these are very hard to come by this side of the pond

That was what I loved about it, everything is really subtle and musical. You can’t hear the compressor but you miss it when not using it. It’s one of my favourite pieces of really transparent gear. But the problem with really transparent gear is you don’t miss it too much when you don’t have it.
