  1. Glad they are working for you, they have done the job for me thus far
  2. dUg Pinnick Thread can be closed now.....
  3. Awesome some agreed, I could be here for hours posting awesome songs
  4. Ha! I have only lived in Bristol about 3 years so am a newbie. Saw last in line and inglorious recently - loved it as a venue
  5. CG always did have questionable taste, those yellow cycling shorts........
  6. Rhys, if you come to the Bierkeller, do not get the Guinness, it tastes of cider, i very much doubt the pipes have ever been cleaned, also the banana or toffee beer is chuff I'll e the more than eager one up front with a beverage that has come from a bottle...
  7. Best of to you, I am just starting my journey, but like you think music is a team game
  8. Got it on Spotify now My bass playing has a long way to go.... Good shout bro
  9. Love Corey glover and living colour as well, that would have been brilliant. Does it quantify as stalking if I go to all 3 or just an eager fan?!
  10. In June of this Kings X are coming to the UK!!!! 12tt June Bristol Bierkeller 13th June Wolverhampton 14th June O2 Academy Islington I have my Bristol tickets, I am very nearly thinking of going to all 3. They are playing these dates before playing a Festival in Germany 15th-17th June. Too excited to finally see dUg and Kings X, I need to hear that Tech21 amp in person.
  11. Quite excited, tickets got for Bristol next week!
  12. @LewisK1975 I always fancied a trickfish and have loved sounds I have heard from it, never in person though. One downside of being in the UK is lack of easy access to some of the cool stuff which is just off main stream
  13. Yep, I had them the other night, but my guitarist is not as brash as yours so I could only just hear him!
  14. Technically equipment counts as a refurb..... Good luck for your endeavours, whilst I shall not yet join you in this mission I shall support you by looking twice as hard at all classifieds thus engulfing your urge
  15. Reckon so, truss rod may be ok, I raised the action a bit and with the Boomers it seems to be behaving and staying in tune. Can't wait to actually see what happens. I've been playing drop D and down half a step anyway
  16. I'm just about to put my bass to BEAD and moving from GHS Boomers medium to DR DDT extra heavy, let's see what difference that makes?!
  17. Any feedback from the pub gig? Any more info?
  18. Hello mate, After a couple of others I got a G&L ASAT in silver sparkle with a #7 neck which is thick, and not readily available. At this point it was not it, but I fell in love with that model. The next step was a semi hollow version and this in the UK was especially hard as I did not want any colour, had to be black like my hero dUg Pinnick. The sickening/lucky thing is that it was a couple of months and I found one so I snapped it up, but I do not remember seeing another one of these in the past 3 years so it was right time and right place as it was only about an hour away. I now have in my collection a G&L ASAT solid and semi, and L1500 which covers nearly all sounds. The last one in the list is a Sandberg Umbo and I do have a particular colour and ageing I would go for. I am prepared to wait for sometime as I have 3 crackers. I do like basses that are not common!
  19. If it's not the geetard it's the snare. You could always get a subharmoniser pedal and hit the brown note to pay them all back and suck all the air out the room
  20. Poor you Hope it works for you
  21. I recognise your points, but you a can have a bit of fun with the amp on the Same settings between both circuits if you are stacking and have different pedals in front DG or not as you will get different effects, i know i could potentially see it working without changing any dials on the amp
  22. I'm thinking about this, but again will she how the full line ups go
  23. Definitely 4 switches, being able to select the VMT circuit and b3k circuit separately is a must I think and makes the amp way more flexible, and may do themselves out of pedal sales except for the fact that stacking the pedals is a heap of fun.... VMT into a B7K back into a VMT/B3K circuit on the amp could be interesting.....
