  1. @LukeFRC exactly the point - it may be an absolute turkey and then it makes no difference is single or multi effect - it’s all postulation based on no real knowledge, except that Fender pedals have for the most part been pretty good, the man Alex involved in design and EQ is fairly decent and it looks pretty good! All the debate has been on definition on a name pretty much, and the old aux in and aux out debate, which to my mind is not a game changer. Most people on here esp will have some form of combo, other pedal, iRig and garageband etc which does that
  2. Let’s settle this - firstly it’s marketed as a multi effect not ‘effects’ pedal or ‘fx’ pedal. An effect pedal is an electronic device that alters the tone, pitch or sound of an electronic instrument. Effect as a noun - a change which is a result or consequence of an action or other cause Effect as a verb - cause (something) to happen; bring about Multi is always just more than one, even if the options are A and B or A/B/C it would still be a multiple choice question. What will nearly all bassists use on a gig or any situation to a variable degree - Bass, drive, compression, EQ. Sounds like it’s a good job done, esp with LED lights to see where your EQ points are at a very reasonable price point.
  3. @CameronJ Sorry - took me a while to get to this. @woodywyatt I’ve played most basses in the Sandberg range with variations of pick ups and configurations. If you are looking at new, give me a pm, i’ll Pass anything I know to maybe help
  4. I think the relic vs non relic vs mojo/fake mojo has been done to death - so please nothing on that. But......at what point does wear and tear on a bass go from a potential price deduction on a second/third hand bass to a piece holding/enhancing feature. Evidently there are classic era’s of basses and they will hold value no matter what, but essentially we know these marks in no way affect the quality of the instrument or how it plays, but there has to be a turning point where people call it mojo. Just interested really
  5. And those Haggis Horns were good!
  6. We are doing AC/DC long way to the top with our piper. They are a bugger to tune to, we have to be 1/4 step down and even then it depends on how warned up his pipes are - could be great, could be awful. Another for your feed....

Tomorrow night from me, I am addressing the Haggis and will Be reciting that poem, and then doing the music for the gathering in our village hall. before that we have a piper for stripping the willow. not sure if people really know what they have got themselves in for with me performing! Slangevar!
  12. @Wolverinebass the feet at the bottom are screw in and screw out so it can be rack mounted - I remember someone on Talkbass showing how he did it a couple years back. Also on that recent video he did nod towards someone out there, or maybe them who are producing official racks for it. Pretty sure you can get a dUg Ultrabass cheaper 🙏🏾😘🤫
  13. @Al KrowHeight or irrelevance, I might like a Dacia Duster, do I have to own one?
  14. What I like and don’t like, you don’t know....! Took your time answersing on here, rearranging the pedal board again, or polishing the gold hardware?
  15. Put gold hardware on @Al Krow will lap it up, he has dubious taste
  16. Sandberg VT model is the beans - can Be had for under a grand second hand
  17. Solid work that - well done
  18. Anyone else apart from knicknack used a Nash? People across the water use them and rave, Glenn Hughes uses Nash and he makes them sound great, but he is a little bit talented.... Personally I used to think they were a very expensive bitsa bass company - but that may have changed. I say buck the trend and get one, probably not many in the Uk

  22. So this is the most active Yammy fan boy area, and I know it’s a ‘BB’ thread, butnfor all of you like like the Attitude Billy’s sheehan bass, there is a new one due out soon in the original colour he would have modded his P bass on and a roasted maple neck. Neck pick up looks different as well . Enjoy.....
