    Yep, our funk-ish band avoided Superstition due to everyone and their mother murdering it, ( some have nailed it ) so we chose Higher Ground. Great bassline and easy to play. KC's That's The Way and Get Down Tonight are pretty good fun to play too.

    OOh - interesting. Did TB only bring out a fretless after MK ripped his out ? Personally, i would have thought that they made a factory fretless back then, so not sure why he didn't just a buy a fretless version of his bass

    Tried and failed. Even in translation , simply finding basses didnt work. Much easier if you're German i suppose

    Is this young lady talented. Dear cliff ! She's so petite, that 5 banger Ray looks bigger than she is, but it makes no difference. She knows her way round the fretboard, and with great timing. I'd love some of the talent she has. Hope she's in a band. She would be utterly wasted if she was just a bedroom player

    Have to agree on the Karn sound. The Bean era was fabulous for tone. Was it a TB2000 fretless ?

    £150 is taking the michael , but insuring and posting a £2,500 bass probably isn't cheap. Didn't the old Travis and Kramer ally neck basses suffer from temperature changes ? Taking that bass out of your car in the winter into a warm pub ...
