  1. I need a 13v 2000ma Pos tip power supply, ( bluddy Sony oddball NWZ ) but so far, i've only found 13.5v Will 13.5v volt PS run my Sony, as long as it can doo 2000ma and POS tip ?
  2. It is a big chunk for a 200 quid bass, for sure, but that's down to the seller to weigh things up. The problem with the big parcel chuckers is sorting things out when it all goes wrong
  3. They are good . The communication via phone message from Len's driver was top notch. Charlie Chandlers Guitar Exp. in London also use these guys. Superb if you're not in any kind of hurry. Also the value of your bass is not needed, unlike the usual suspects. 300 quid , 1000, quid, 10,000 quid, makes no difference to the price, as thats fixed.
  4. https://lenspeedlogistics.com/ These guys are specialist instrument movers. Not only instruments, valve amps, etc but artwork and other vaulables. They dont require a hardcase. Their fixed rate for any bass or guitar is £55 insured. They do have a limited area they cover though. Anything outside needs a quote. When phoning, it's likely to be an answer machine as they really are a small concern, but Len the boss will call you. They're pretty busy people so you wont get next day, as these peeps are not like the corporate parcel chuckers. PS i've already used these guys
  5. Nah i never did an NBD eude so here's ye olde spec. Wilkinson tuners, Schaller 3D bridge , MEC German humbuckers from Warwick, Vol, Vol, Tone, Tone, passive. Tusq nut. 6. Here we go.. Friday has come and gone and no sign of UPS. No update like ' we couldnt pick up your parcel ' just nothing Go figure. Refund time, i reckon. A$$HOLES
  7. I dont have the above but i have the Vitoos ISO 8 which is almost identical , it's just that when i searched for Vitoos for this thread, i couldn't find one. I 've had mine for a few years when you could buy them most places, but where are they now, i have no idea. The one above in the link has 2 more sockets than my Vitoos, so a bargain
  8. @Mykesbass I just looked at their pamphlet and i should say, that the fixed guitar price of 55 quid ( i dont know about furniture ) is restricted to the large area of central England Scotland, Wales , and extreme South, Southwest, Southeast England is price on request
  9. That's their bag and i guess the furniture is valuable otherwise not worth it. Any guitar is £55, they dont need a value, or even a carboard box, weight or dimensions. Just the original case or a case of some description for the guitar in question
  10. Well, i did use Interparcel first, but the price for UPS was £64. Booking UPS direct with extra large parcel option upto £1000 insurance was £15 Lenspeed specialise in musical instruments, guitars , valve amps, cabs etc, among other stuff like antiques , art. Though i must say they are nowhere near as cheap as the big parcel punters, but what price safety
  11. The last time i used a courier was when i sent a guitar to Charlie Chandlers in London a week ago and used a really small outfit called Lenspeed Logistics. They were recommended by CC staff. They did a great job too. Great commuications from the Len the boss and his driver. Sadly they couldn't do this collection for me as they were fully booked till the 24th, otherwise i would have used them again
  12. Booked them direct ( no middle man ) on Tuesday to pickup a parcel , booking said collection will be Wednesday ( today now ) between 12-2pm, and delivery Friday to me. Take a wild guess ? Correct. They didnt turn up today. I knew it was a mistake booking a big name parcel chucker. I've had no updates from UPS at all about the parcel being collected. All I got was an email with a tracking number saying the parcel was being rescheduled, but didnt mention whether the collection was being changed or the delivery day. The tracking number didnt work when i clicked on it either. Probably because tracking numbers are useless until a parcel is collected I went through a silly rigmarole with their webchat, twice today, then to be told they couldnt update me with the tracking number i gave them, which they gave me in the first place ! 3rd time I eventually got a real person who i couldnt understand, and got no info why it wasnt collected when they said, and so with some language trouble, managed to get them to collect Friday. ( I think - agent's English was awful ) They wanted to do it Thursday, which i told them not to because my guy was not going to be in that day I despair at couriers in the UK. They're not worth the paper my grocery list is printed on.
  13. £66.99 10 isolated output: 9V 300mA port x 7, 9V 500mA port x 1, 9/12/18V 500mA adjustable output port x 2 https://www.amazon.co.uk/CAMOLA-Station-Isolated-Outputs-Effects/dp/B08NXF5837/ref=sr_1_18?crid=2RD3LA1XP8C85&keywords=pedal+power+supply&qid=1678819417&sprefix=pedal+power+supply%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-18
  14. Given the position of the pickup, i wasn't surprised on the tone, but always take into account what sort of device ./ speakers you're listening with
  15. Same here - never bought a bass with Fender on the headstock in my lifetime. That woody Bacchus of Nik's above though - that's real handsome
  16. My word, who would have thought - another J clone. Mind you, they look more wonderful than anything Fender could make or has made. Probably play better too
  17. Fugly looks, fugly tone. But hey, what a boring world if we all liked the same thing. One man's beef crumpet is another man's rycin brioche
