It would be a huge expense, now i have the MEI 100 G2 and if necessary, could get more receivers for the G2
-
I'm very green regarding IEM's , but most of my reading has revealed that we can have more than just 1 receiver body pack per transmitter ?
-
-
It was a simple question - what about the knobs How have we got to jugulars and weather ?
-
Just a thought .. say the transmitter works on 5.8 Ghz ( Mipro 58 ) , does the belt pack receiver also have to work on the same freq ?
-
I have no idea what bit route one is, but if i were going for Gold , i would change all the hardware, rather than most of it. Just a thought.

Thanks EB, i can live with it i reckon.

What about yer knobs ?

The System has now turned up ( earlier than expected ) so i hooked up my bass and the LD MEI 100G2 + KZ ZSN-C Pro Quad Driver Ears The gear used is passive bass into a Behringer mini mixer, to active wedge, out from mixer to LD 100G, which was set at 863mhz as was the body pack, obvs. Using mono , not stereo Sound came through from the bass fine, but i was unprepared for the amount of accompanying hiss. This only happens when playing. The hiss completely disappears when not playing. The system is deadly silent until i pluck a string. Could i improve this in any way ?

OK, cheers. I'll make sure i tune it to 863-865

I have an LD systems on route for a march delivery and as i already use a Line 6 G75 relay wireless for my bass which uses 2.4ghz range, will the the two systems mess each other up if too close to each other ? Apparently the LD uses 823 – 832 and 863 – 865 MHz

Hey Mick, shut your account Bass is too wacky for me. Looks like John Travolta should be dancing on it.

What spares and backup do you take to a gig?

Just a few cables. -
From what i read about mine, it can go 48 hours continuous use on a full charge, ( batteries are in-built ) so at about 3 hours a week, approx 16 weeks use. Probably shouldnt worry about it.

I have a bluetooth switching pedal that charges up with a USB cable. Would it be ok to leave the charger cable permanently connected to the pedal + USB charge socket so i dont have to unvelcro it from my fx board to charge it up ?
-
Tartan - go for it
-
Very useful link - thanks !!

I've decided to move my Micro Thump up the FX board a couple of inches, which makes a straight jack no long stick out and in danger 👍 Dont know why i didnt think of moving it in the first place.
-
If necessary, rather than using an adapter, i could just buy a cable with a straight jack. I particularly wanted angled, because a straight will stick out and be vulnerable but it would only mean pulling the jack out , so not exactly a big deal.

He mentioned the rear tuning peg cover missing, but glaringly doesnt mention the 2 washers missing on the tuners on the front. Nasty piece of modding on what was probably a good bass

Berlimey - 55 quid. Are they made of plutonium ?
-
An adapter might have to be the way to go, but they introduce another possible trouble point

Looking for a Female XLR to Right Angle Mono 6.35mm Jack, about 4 or 5 metre will do. Not quite finding what i need. Plent of cables out there but mostly XLR to straight Jack. Anybody know a supplier ?
