  2. Indeed. Looks like i did it, but not guilty.
  3. Might be a good reason but cant think of one
  4. 55 notes, Marc. Pricey but very accurate and useful if you sell a fair bit.
  5. I went for this bad boy, because i'm worth it. It can weigh a Great Dane without breaking a sweat. 150kg at the top end
  6. Even better if it was a gay cake.
  7. If only i'd known ! As it happens, i'm going back to wound strings, and those Chromes and my Roto 77 flats will be getting sold on, when i can get round to it
  8. Dammit - have you got binoculars or something ??
  9. I know someone who's Phrygid
  10. Thanks JA - i will give that a go
  11. Ooh ta Norris. Bit of a bar steward about having to remove the pots. Its packed in there and hard to see much ( blend, vol , 2 tones )
  12. I'd like to determine the k ohms of some pots in one of my basses Firstly, can i do this while they're still all connected and if so, which tabs do i stick the red and black multi meter cables on and which setting on the ohms scale do i use TVM

  14. Thats more Dali than Picasso. He left that too near the grill
  15. Yeah that would look favourite. Maybe that upper control cavity takes 2 batts, as it looks big enough, and if you only want to run 9v, use just 1 in the electronics cavity
  16. Where does the 2nd 9v battery go for the 18v preamp , or is it underneath the one in the photo ?
  17. The speakons with a metal sliding locking "thumb " switch are easy. It's those feckers with the round grey locking collar that are the real pain. I stopped buying those
  18. Hand made, apparently. Who by ..Stevie Wonder ??
  19. Thanks Chris. I checked " my followed content " in my account and it wasn't showing up as being ticked. Still, job done !
  20. Hi moddies Recently - in fact just today it started, i've been getting on site notifications of random new threads in Off Topic. I've had about 3 so far, so it cant be ALL new threads in OT ( i think ) I'm not suscribed to follow new threads in OT, so not sure why i'm getting informed of them .. any ideas ?
  21. That might not be it's only fault Mick. Quite a lot of these had a digital clock whine. It's a well known fault, but it wouldn't fail a pat test, i would have thought.
  22. Riverhead basses are bluddy good. Grab it
